Not many people realize how difficult and complicated these kinds of machines are. Which means that repairing and restoring them is extremely hard!!!

I've just picked up one of these machines, giving it a bit of service to get all the internal bits working again. Would it be alright if I ask a couple questions about the process?

Mind if I ask what you used to clean off all the old oil and grease build up before re-oiling the mechanisms?

I usually use lacquer thinner for cleaning off old grease
