It's a show song. It would have needed a show performance with dancers et cetera. Just Elina an her pale prop was not enough to stand out.

Meaning.. When she was interviewed she had pretty much no idea about what she was singing. When she would have understood meaning of song better, performance itself would have been better and more rememberable as well..
