It works really well for how simple it is. There are a few improvements that could be made to make it more consistent. However we figured most teams will figure out some cool adjustments and upgrades to the Starter Bot on their own :)
The Control Hub and Cable Switch and Bracket are the only items not included with the FTC Starter Kit V3. The general idea was to build a robot limited to the items typically purchased through the FIRST Storefront.
@@shivammathur1583 currently we do not have a "mega" kit however there are a number of other bundles that add in more parts depending on what you are looking to use: www.revrobotics.com/ftc/kits/
Question, Why not have the block code IN THE INSTALLER package? USB transferred the .blk file just fine. disconnecting to wifi duplicate this step is oddly adding complexity as the software did not have code to recognize the download folder .blk file, only wifi did this. This needs to be 3rd grade simple to begin PnP out of box. (Keep the java to run forcing coding being key to innovating.) Managing configuration and coding to begin could be preloaded making day 1 the beginning of innovation.
I tried to purchase the kit but it's out of stock at the moment, should I wait for it to be back in stock or try buy the parts individually. And do you by any chance know how long it takes for kits to get back in stock? I'm new to robotics had my first FTC challenge this weekend it was an amazing experience but my teams robot was severely lacking compared to others. I want my team to be more confident in our robots and to not hold back our alliances.
Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, like many other industries, REV Robotics' supply chain has been negatively impacted by some of the downstream effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Specifically, we are experiencing shortages of many of the electronic components that go into our products and are also experiencing significant delays in shipping/receiving our completed products once they are produced. While we are constantly working to keep products in stock on our website, there are products that we do not currently have estimated arrival dates for, the FTC Starter Kit currently is one of those products. If you haven't already purchased a Starter Kit through the FIRST Storefront for your team we are recommending folks do so. We understand that this is a large inconvenience as the new school year and robotics season is in full swing. We are working with our suppliers and vendors everyday to ensure timely re-stocking, and we will update stock dates on our website as we have them. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and please don't hesitate to ask if you have additional questions.

Quick question how much is the starter kit including everything we need since I understand the hub is not there. Thank you
