Yeah I don't know either, might be experience from years of playing he's guestimating where they are and if he hits themselves he predicts where they go next. But it's still goddamn insane

+ the shots through smoke is just predicting movement and shooting accordingly
The guy is definitely visible 3 frames before Timmy shoots, with fairly predictable movement which isn't difficult to track. The issue is that UA-cam's compression (and probably Twitch's compression before that) have made the whole image kinda crusty, and so he looks basically invisible on our end while on Timmy's screen he was probably much more visible.

Seeing the team comps almost all be Bang, Horizon, Cat, or alternating for Conduit kinda makes the game seem broken. If this is the only competitive team comp, then Apex needs to buff the other legends and make them more competitive. If everyone is doing the same moves, the game lacks diversity/versatility in play style which isn't really that fun. Would love to see a comp like Crypto, Loba, and Rampart in an ALGS match.
it has literally always been like this. they cant really make everyone viable in comp without hurting the casual playerbase. u cannot balance a game around the top 0.01%.

in these scrims dezign was igl. now after the most recent algs matches timmy is igl and dezign is gonna macro zones and things like that, but mostly fragging. dezign is a very good igl but he just got tilted too easily when he didnt feel like he was being heard which ultimately hurt his igling ability. i think the new setup is gonna be a lot better with timmy igling
