    Great Looking Hot Rod. After 45years of driving. Pulled all different brands of trailers. Loved my Ravens. Of course. Magnum Ravens were the top of the line in the 70s and 80s. When Reitenoers came out in the 90s. All steel haulers had to get a Big Bubba. As far as those fenders. I always had stainless steel half fenders. But I found out really quick that you don't bring your winches no further forward than the back of the fenders. You need to get some portable winches or some portable straps to use over the fenders. Just Saying. Those fenders are pricey and hard to get at times. Stay Safe and TRUCKEM EASY. ! 👍👍🇺🇸

    Move your ratchets back and use portable straps up front so you won’t hit your fenders

    You should put a PDI Intake and Exhaust manifold on it

    Fuel issue with o-rings letting it leak back and contaminate filter doesn’t really make sense to me.
    Usually black filter like that would be a sign of algae ……..I would treat it with some biocide for a while just as a back up.

      I tried biocide back when the issue first started. Cummins said oil contamination was what’s going on so I let them handle it. I’ll let you know once I run it a few weeks and see what happens

      Agreed, FPPF Killem usually fixes our trucks when they start having short fuel filter life with black contamination

    Beautiful truck man, I wish you great success with your business. I'm still trying to decide if spending 250k on a new truck will flat line my business. I got an old paid off truck, but she's on her last leg. Spending 250k on a new one would pencil out if I can keep the wheels turning all year, but you never know. There's always slow downs, increased prices on fuel, unexpected expenses and everything else that comes with trucking and these new trucks. Sometimes I think working an office job for 80k a year with good healthcare would be a safer and less stressful option lol. I do enjoy being behind the wheel more than being behind a desk. Have you felt the pressure of everything going up in price, or have have you been able to adjust your rates accordingly? If you don't want to share, no worries.

    Fuel hog you can’t make it the value of the truck fall fast and freight prices are down. You got to make payments on that forever .
    Keep hauling don’t stop .

    Stop buy your fuel at loves, they use alot of the biofuel, look at the fuel when you're putting it in your tanks, if it has alot of yellow tint to it, I wouldn't fill the tanks, just get enough to make it to another truck stop, the TA, flying Js and Pilots are pretty good as fuel goes.

    Well if you had the old Cummins motor you would not have any issues for I would say 2 or 3 years 😅

    You painted the front fenders?

    • @youngtrucker
      @youngtrucker  2 роки тому +2

      Yes, I was hit at a truck stop and the left front was damaged. I’ve never been a huge fan of frame color painted front fenders. I had the painted to match the body color

    If I were going to drive again, I wouldn't own a truck built in this century. Not being able to go work in Kalifornica would be a bonus.
