Super Block World is an mod that has recently been remade but for forge 1.20, this amazing mod combines the worlds of minecraft and super mario!!

As a Mario superfan, I think this is already easily the best Mario mod for Minecraft.
Most mods like this just layer Mario "stuff" on top of the game, but this actually sensibly combines typical Mario mechanics with Minecraft's mechanics to make a Mario-themed Minecraft gameplay experience.

as a pro mario nerd, here are a few things i noticed:
1. vanillate is a reference to Vanilla Dome, the cave area in super mario world
2. toadstone, in its natural form, is based on the ground blocks from the original super mario bros
3. hardstone resembles the ground blocks of super mario bros.: the lost levels, specifically from world 7-3
4. rainbow tiles are almost certainly a reference to rainbow road
5. star clusters are a reference to shooting star summit from the original paper mario
6. amanita doors and trapdoors resemble the warp doors and rotating blocks from super mario world, respectively
6.5. being able to make pipe corners like in smb1 is a good touch
7. the noise when you use a warp link is the same noise the clapperboard makes in the super mario maker series
i based the star cluster texture on the crystals from smg

Enjoyed the mod, but disappointed about the lack of mobs with the exception of Lumas, Shy Guys, and Boom Booms. It just lacks the Toads, Princesses, Biomes, Plumbers, and more, but again. It's still in Progress
