This is one of my most favorite songs. Not just by Lizz Wright but period. This is good music. I try to keep my kids away from that pop garbage that is out there and search for quality music and this is definately QUALITY music. I live in NC and she has yet to come near enough for me to see her live but if she get's within a couple of hours away I will be there.
Perfect beauty, that was my comment posting this video on my fb. My dream is to meet her and listening to her singing in the club near my home, in Rome.
What a wondeful find this evening. I went looking for another female vocalists rendition of Neil Youngs, 'Old Man", found Lizz's instead, been checking out all the cuts on youtube from this same venue...haven't been disappointed yet. What a talent, why haven't I heard of her from any source or anyone I know? It's hard to believe that these vids have been posted almost 3 years and have only averaged about 35,000 views each. Spread the word, she deserves millions of views/listens. Big Love, Lizz
She is an artist who is at her best "live". Although her recordings are good, they do not come close to her live performances. There are other artists like that, Sonny Rollins and Paquito Rivera to name 2 examples. Fine recordings but, live, they really connect with the audience. Such a beautiful woman, such a magnificent voice!
Oh there's no doubt in my mind she'll become much better known. It takes a decade or more, provided her talent is marketed aggressively. Al Green did not become a star overnight either and had a number of disappointing music releases before he struck it big. I thought that it was only old farts who claim that today's music industry is shit. ;P
My favorite song. My favorite singer. What a voice.......
OMG!!! 😂😂😂 that guitar and her voice!!! Awesome!!!
Make`s me cry and sad but also make me humble and honoured to listen to Miss Lizz Wright Heavenly voice! Thank you, thank you Miss L. Wright!
When Lizz is singing live big gracefulness begins to swing between her and the audience.
Amazing song . Amazing voice !

Great percussion! A whole trap-set of hand drums.

Her voice blows me away every time. She deserves Al Green status... Takes a few years, doesn't it? ;~)

Seriously! What is there not to like about this song! Too short, maybe?
