I've had a fascination myself with old my mental asylums since I was very VERY young lol now my three year old and to watch specific haunted videos on UA-cam before bed which doesn't fly with me so last night it was a funny snail eating from a spoon. Was it the one in Elgin? I had an experience there that changed me for life. I used to handle the pest control for Elgin State Mental Institute, and Once while treating the bathrooms in the main office building, I went into the men's room, finished my treatment, went into the women's room, and immediately was smacked with this almost physical sense of not being alone, of fear, and of not being wanted there. I almost ran out. When I asked someone later about the restrooms, I was told that the building used to house residents, and that a man had been raped and murdered in the restroom in the early 80s. I told my boss I'd never go back there and I didn't.
At 11.22 -11.23, you will hear a two syllable sound, very quick, but close to the mic, then as Jon's friend , Tim, goes into the room, JUST BEFORE he enters the room, you can see a shadow, move from left to right, starting right at the dresser thing, and moving right, as if to get out of the way...check it out, you really need to look, but it's there...its shortly after the 2 quick sounds! Please I can't express enough how important wearing a mask is, just a speck of asbestos in your lungs can kill a person. I lost a dear friend doing what you are doing. Just a painters mask would do. Please consider this, Thank you.
Yes that too Mark. My girl friend went on a hunt, she had 15 years under her belt. within a week she was at the hospital, in less than a month she passed away. Hers was asbestos. Safety first is a must.

I hear a building falling apart; paint dropping, building shifting, cracking when you shift your weight/move, and the other noises are from the bats flying around which I would guess that the shape in which those building are they're inhabited by a lot of critters.

My dad and his siblings grew up here in Glendale, the old Baptist children’s home. My dad got adopted and came to Indiana, but his sisters ended up staying at the home and graduating. I’ve heard lots and lots of stories about this place. With all the years of history and the activity there’s no doubt in my mind that it isn’t haunted.
How are you doing? My parents spent years there also. Is your dad still alive. My mom and dad have passed on.They never talked bad about the place. So I don't have any stories.

You really should check out eaves bluff in Decatur Tennessee. Old abandoned civil war home/hospital. Civil war union and Confederate soilders are buried in the hills. It's an awesome spot.. I've checked it out several times, I lived a few miles away
FYI, it's been said that spiders congregate in haunted places, that they're drawn to them like metals being drawn to a magnet. IDK if that's true, I've never tested the theory, but you tell me if you've seen more spiders at places with more activity, or not.

I worked for the city of fitzgerald in ga and was lucky enough to go to a three story old hotel that no one had been in .for about 75 years it was shut up and the door hidden after a woman was blundered to death in a room. I have a back for just standing in a place and just imagining people moving as if it was happening at the moment the furniture and everything was as if they left in a hurry I found two old pistols still on the dresser and old money. a old railroad watch.jewelry.and other stuff that I can't say on here but I love your videos keep them coming and go back to this place
Some of the places like this in the world are haunted, and some times you get a lemon, just a few guy's wandering around old abandoned places with cameras, and friends. Trouble is the guys trying to sell it have the cameras, there friends go off in rooms, and spots near by to try, and make the erie sounds. Professionals have everyone with cameras that are all tied in together like camera 1, 2, 3, and so on so they all have the same time stamps, and they have there own alibis for that point, and they have proof so someone can analyze everything. Yeah there's a second guy with a camera, but from what I've heard the second guy is supplying footage for his own stream, so there is no camera 2, only a partner who agreed to help out if the other guy could do the same for camera man B.

He's not at the one in Glendale Ky. The one in Glendale Ky had separate dwellings that the boy's and girls lived in. After the children's home closed it opened up as a home for troubled teen age girls then was shut down and the property sold.
