The fact that there is not enough counter or plug-ins makes this a NO + I love the cough except how do you fit 7 on the coach with feet stretched out ? ....otherwise ....yes
I had a nice place a year ago. I see better ideas in that but see great ideas here too. The storage under my queen side bed could sleep 4 people from head to toe. I like 90% of this " home"
Would be perfect if it had a 2nd bathroom for the size of this unit .
My wife and I are planning to retire in the next couple of years. We have picked out a place to spend the majority of our time in New Mexico, but we also have kids in Montana and Colorado, so we want to move into an RV and visit them in better weather. We have been looking at fifth wheels because they are more stable on the road, but because of their roadworthiness, they are less roomy than this one. Plus, there isn't much room for the grandkids to sleep over. This 42View, which I would call a park model, has more than enough room for the two of us and any combination of grandkids to spend the night. Or a month! Watching your video hasn't quite dissuaded us from our original choice, but has made me think about some things. Especially the cost of this unit versus others we are considering. I looked up the MSRP and it is $20,000 cheaper than other options, and that's going to be a very real factor in our final purchase. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
We don’t really have a big RV travel culture in the UK or I’m thinking the roads to transport them on. We do have caravans and camper vans which are smaller along with destination versions (fixed caravans). I still love watching your channel and seeing the variety and different styles layouts. The lofts could be used for storage which is what a full timer would want.
No. Lofts are a huge waste of space. Unsightly, claustrophobic. If no lofts, you have have under carriage storage that looks like someone could live in there. Plus higher ceilings inside.
We are full time, we have 2 bathrooms, one with a massive shower, huge living room with 2 queen pullouts, 55 inch tv. plus 2 recliners, a king master with tv, plenty of drawers, and full sized residential appliances amd a dinette. Plus a washer dyer in the master closet. Storage underneath is ridiculous. Montana 3761FL, I think 42 feet?
Beautiful! This is something I wish I could get and park at the lake 20 miles from my daughters place. Its just the perfect size for the grandkids to come and stay overnight. Enough beds for all. Might never be able to get one, but enjoy watching your videos and dreaming.
Great Video with an awesome destination trailer! Absolutely love the living & sleeping space. My personal feeling is I would want another 1/2 bath. If you have that many people your going to need another bathroom!
Needs the bigger stove/oven, don't like the stove right next to the wall! I personally want a dishwasher drawer & MORE outlets.I HAVE to have a big dedicated pantry because I am the cook for all those people so I need somewhere to put lots of food!
They did a good job on the island length & stools. With a few tweaks (additions) it could have been perfect - just not quite there yet but it is beautiful! Thanks for the great review!!
Am I just crazy / stoned, or is it just impossible to put a slide on the roof above the lofts that raises the head space 3 - 5 feet?

Then it would be 15' tall and you don't want to penetrate the roof with a moving section.
But if it was a slide out it would slide in as well kinda like the pop-up trailers

If your living full time in this thing, you can turn one of those lofts into an office type area given the height. Will have to get creative with how you sit but could work

This is my dream home. I have been living in my current 5th wheel for 3 years now. It's 39 ft. It's just not big enough for my partner, 3 cats, German Shephard, and my sugar gliders. I'd turn the loft above the bathroom into the dogs area instead of a kennel she currently sleeps in. I'd just put a baby gate up at night so she doesn't tear things up. Then I'd remove one mattress. So one side would be her toys food, and water. The other side she could sleep on the mattress. Then I'd make the other side for the cats
Shouldn't have bought one with a loft. The biggest space waster ever.

I was extremely underwhelmed by this trailer and it wasn't the extra bathroom that did it. It looks big on the outside but little on the inside
I hope they make one of these with a big slide out on the non kitchen side. I dont need or want a deck so an additional slide would add dining or just floor space to move.
We just bought a destination trailer. We love it. We plan on using it as a travel trailer. 40fl sandpipper. Which doesn't have addional bedrooms or bunk rooms. It is much better than a regular trailer qualitywise. Real appliances. We were coming from a 5th wheel. Needing no stairs. Inside. Huge windows. Huge island. Lighten is great.

I think it's a great destination trailer. You would definitely need a shed for outside storage of lawn chairs, etc. I would like to see the stove moved to the middle of the slide so there is counter on both sides as well as a larger stove. I also agree about the lack of space on the side of the bed. I would also prefer the fireplace in the bedroom at the end of the bed so the heat would not be blowing right on the side of the bed. That would be my husband's side and he would hate the heat blowing on him. :) I think there is a lot of positive things that would make this a great weekend getaway "cabin".

I would also love the kitchen island under the windows so I can pass through items outside without walking around it. That would also allow for more cabinets under the current sitting area or just leave enough for 1 stool and move the other outlet from the backside to the front for kitchen items when I need them. You also can't open the left fridge door completely. :( Personally I think destination trailers should have the option of mini splits (that would eliminate the floor vents and the ceiling vents) and hot water on demand units.

This would be perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids! The kids could either share a loft space and make one a play area, OR they could each have their own “room”!! I would move in here with my husband and kids in a heartbeat! Has more storage than my three bedroom apartment!
Hi. I just binge watched 2 of your videos and coming back to comment now. This is one hell of a model. Wow. If I were stable and full time living I would consider this one if I still had little ones too. I really love the island with the stools and all of the room in there. Crazy!!! I’m curious. I’ve never heard either of you say if you live in a camper or sticks and bricks. Im curious and if you don’t which ones would be on top of your list? That would be a really good video too!!! 🎉
We have a 2020 Jayco Jayflight LOFT... I like this unit ... great for the top of our mountain in Northern Nevada... VIEWS is what we have!
when I was in sales customers would complain about the size of the ranges but the traded in models rarely saw any use. I'd say 3/4 of the time the ovens had the manuals still wrapped in plastic inside of them. I'm surprised that the range itself hasn't become an upgrade.
This one is my favorite
It would’ve been nice to see that big bathroom attached to the master bedroom, and maybe a small half bath in the back! I also wish the shower matched a little more with the “luxury” feel, like one of the nice tile or panel looking ones with the little wooden seat. That would’ve been very pretty.
I agree about the hinges and stove too, odd they didn’t put the Insignia 4 burner or the soft close/hidden hinges. I’d definitely turn one of the lofts into an office space, I could sit down to work lol. Love all the windows too. Very nice!

Beautiful unit!! Just a few things I'd like to see.. the larger stove and oven, (as you mentioned) an outside water source for an outside shower, and propane for an outside grill, lastly I think a tankless water heater would be better. Other than that, the floor plan is great and the storage between the mattresses is inspired!

I am going tomorrow to look at this exact model. I'm selling my house and moving to the lot behind my son's house - -I will be adding a sunroom to the front eventually. You answered all the questions I needed answered and plus reminded me to take a tape measure. It is a leftover but not preowned. Looking for a spot to put my air fryer which I use almost exclusively as an oven. Thanks again

Yeah I agree the finishes are definitely not premium but it gives you that premium feel. The exposed hinges I’m not a fan of plus it looks like the soft close drawers and doors were not working properly not to mention the cabinet doors are wrapped and not stained. So they could’ve bumped up the quality a little bit on some of those things but overall it’s pretty nice. Missing a second bath or at least a half bath I think was definitely a missed opportunity
We are definitely looking for a destination trailer to park on my son's property. I wish they could create something this big, and it have another full size private bedroom and another bathroom. We have seen the new 2 bedrooms, such as the Keystone Alpine. It would be nice to have the height of this trailer with at least another full bedroom and bathroom.

You two work really well together! I am so proud of how you demonstrate respect for each unit you show by not being rough with anything! You always sit respectfully on the furniture or opening drawers etc., some folks just flop onto the furniture and are really rough when showing the closets, drawers etc.
We try our best to understand that none of these RV's are ours and respect the future owners that will use them

I think an argument could be made that there should be a standard formula of toilets per bed. This needs at least 1 more toilet with this many beds. Also being so geared to kids it would have been nice to have a tub. Same with dining. I would prefer the island be storage and a dishwasher and then add a freestanding table for the seating area.
That couch is if nana and pawpaw want to come visit and cant do the steps or crawl on their knees 😊

放洗脸盆柜与旁边的厨柜的A区，放去对面Q区。（对面的Q区的便厕取消。）。A区做一间套装站冲凉房~是里面有放便厕的~有窗口的。（#原本的放洗衣机间的W区，就换去车外开抽屉，抽屉里面有洗衣机是小型二合一洗烘机。）#原本的站冲凉房做去W区（原本的站冲凉房区就退向后，前面才有足够的空间做洗脸盆，一个简单洗脸盆卓与一个架子-够放-洗涤剂牙刷牙膏毛巾即可，不必在旁边做厨柜），就套装一个小型坐（不要躺）浴缸款式的即是。
Thank you for reviewing this destination trailer. I have been waiting to hear what you think. We are definitely considering this model as a retirement home. I do wish there was a larger stove and oven, but I can manage,.I prefer one bath as most of the time it would be just my hsband and me, and I don't need an extra bathroom to keep clean. I envision it on a mountainside in Tennessee.

Looks like a great extended stay or live in for sure. It would be nice if there were more slide outs for the living room & kitchen spaces but I understand design and weight restrictions. A second full bath would be great or even a half bath. Great ceiling heights and some nice finishes.
What was the sales price? And the actual “non-super special event at the Cowboy’s stadium” price.
These sell around $70-$80k
I love the destination trailers. I think they would make great hunting and fishing cabins to be stationed on a property permanently. Just wish there were more options to secure them in the off-season when there may be stretches of them not being used. Like ways to cover the windows and doors from outside etc.

Does it come with solar panels? I know most 5th wheels are prepped or come with solar. Will a 50amp connection really power everything on a hot summer day? Also, how far will that water heater go, 20 gallons?
I love this RV! I love the layout and thus destination. Style would make more sense than a 5th wheel because you lied that living space for the truck. I plan to travel later but this is def an option.

I agree, this should have a 2nd bath, waterless heater, stove/oven in middle of the cabinet, more storage and dishwasher in the island, fireplace at the end of the bed, and it should have a folding table by the king bed on the far wall. You should call those retractable TVs, Televators.
With Master on the other end - - having one bathroom on opposite end is the greatest - - I could live in this fulltime, but not with bathroom configuration.
We are looking for a 19’ RV with DRY BATH (separate toilet and shower using a smart wall design... NOT plastic shower curtains) like the Roadtrek Pilot and a drop down bed from the ceiling like the Wingamm Oasi. Hope there is an RV manufacturer that can put these two key features into ONE 19’ RV. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
needs to be expandable on top so when you have it parked and you want to use the loft you do not have to crawl up there. also, a second bathroom in the rv and whole trailer heated floors bathroom heated towel rack. need a full tub. kitchen need
composting, wine rack, dishwasher in kitchen. perfer fiberglass no leaks with those. seperation from kitchen to livingroom step down to it. second bathroom and mudroom at entrance but a wet bath so others do not have to use yours in your personal space. if there is nothing on top of the rv a place to entertain on top with a foldable seats and table with barbeque hidden area that that works with the expandable lift on the top its flesh and works with it.
Make one of the lofts smaller for a half bath 💯

We are permanent campers and great idea but one problem for us we want front living. This hits almost every box other than smaller upper lofts (they look too short compared to most), Forrest River has so many cheap items so that we just went through selling my mother's trailer that the chain cheap slide out drive broke and it was $2000. Then, the other thing I would not like is that you only see out the sides for views. Not very many lots have side views. We need the space for sure of sleeping not many RV's are smart enough to now most people camping have kids, grandkids or another couple. They also want either front or back views. I would love to design.

A loft is not a second story. A second story is one you can stand up in.
2 bathrooms a must with all those beds and coming from master you'd catch your arm hips etc.. on rail by sliding door. Set up a little wonky. If grammas with us bathroom stairs suck. So why not make it 4 foot longer with small shower, toilet and sink by master???🎉❤

Wont lie its... well its not bigger than my apartment but its large enough I'd be comfortable living in it. If I was stupid rich and had a lot of time I'd take that to a national park or something.
Nice trailer I don't like where the bathroom is located other than that very nice.
The ONLY thing I would change would be the sofa… needs recliners because there is enough sleeping space elsewhere. This is the 10th time I’ve viewed this trailer and it the one for me!

I’m just loving you two!!! Thank you! We are in the market to purchase a potential 5th wheel for our primary residence in AZ for about a year. Our rent in Phoenix is 2800.00 and above 2:18 and houses are well over 500,000.00. I’m not doing it. But now I’m kind of looking etc this beauty…

Not liking the one bathroom at all. Do like how open it looks with the windows. I find that most RV's are orientated towards family space, bunk beds etc, beds, beds and more beds LOL, One king bed and a loft is fine, looking for something for 2 people that is large without gearing towards "kids"/ family. More like office space / outside deck is a must, outside kitchen also. This is nice but loft space is lost on us. Wait all those kids and one bathroom? Nope Just the two of us need two bathrooms... that alone is a no sale for me.
I wish it had the bigger stove and oven and a half bath, but other than that, it's absolutely gorgeous, and I'd definitely live in it full time🤩😍🤩
I hate when they add half baths. Takes too much space away from living area. The beauty of this one I'd the large bathroom that makes it feel like home vs the cramped quarters of the usual RV bathrooms.
Quick question, I know there’s no ladder to get on the roof but does that mean that the roof is not fully walkable? Do you know if it’s a fully walkable roof?
It is a fully walkable roof. Pretty much every rv except your most basic, entry level, super inexpensive models will have a fully walkable roof

Has anyone actually PULLED THIS or something similar down the road. We have a 1 TON CHEVY. Not a dually. Would it be comfortable to pull if we TRAVELED WITH IT? My Wife and I are thinking about going full time but we need a trailer that would hold us plus 4 KIDS comfortably. 2 boys 9&7 and 2 girls 4&2. We would like to travel some with it at some point and I wonder if this would be too much to travel with being a bumper style pull. PLEASE TELL ME YOUR OPPIONIONS. Especially if you've towed this.
I like this a lot, but I too would love a 1.5 bath, the kitchen area separate from the living room, maybe only 1 loft area or not have spiral staircase. Also wonder if any destination rvs have dishwashers or side by side washer/dryers? After months of reviewing RVs, I think this is the best option for me. Thanks so much for your videos!
