Actually babies and mother should be left alone peacefully without making them stressed out by taking videos and getting closer to them. Now I have 4 day old pups with mommy ham, and I never bother them apart from putting foods and water for them .

@@pklynn9887 awww I have a hamster to and she gave birth and had 6 baby’s or more but then when it was time to hold them there was only 4 hamsters so we do not know what happened to the others): and then 5 months one of them died and I took every good care of her and I think it was because of the bullying her sister did and mother did so there all separate and am keeping them all 🥳🐹😁😁
@@jennifertate8589 until day 12-14, they can’t be sure to survive. And may die from many causes. Some could be eaten by mother as she thinks she cannot take care many pups, or some may die from failure to thrive, for examples. On week 4, babies should be separated to different cages by sexing. If they are put together since young, it’s rare to fight to death speaking from my experience. But each one has different personality. My today Day 19 old 5 Syrian babies have started playing fighting with noisy voices 😂.

From 8 im down to 2.... 2 died for no reason.... 4 got eaten by the mother hamster... i placed them in a quite area but the 1st time mother hamster still ate her children even though she had alot of food

You can safely handle after 14 days. Separate boys from girls at 4 weeks. I think rehoming is between 6 and 8 weeks. I've seen people advertise younger but I wouldn't let them go earlier than 6 weeks. Not a breeder just love hamsters and have done a lot of research on them

Yes hamster do breed in the wild as. They wish and that is nature but breeding hamster on your own can lead to health problems or potential death to the mom and her babies
