I know this day would come, but I didn’t think that it would come so quickly - a day of your last TWDG cut content video. The first time I saw one of your videos, was 3 years ago, I wasn’t in school for some reason, I don’t remember why, and I found your first two videos about ANF. Unused content and cut voice lines. I watched these two videos and later I was waiting for your other videos. Every time when you published new video, I was enjoying it. Every time. Before I found your first videos, I didn’t know how much I wanted to see something like this. How much I needed it. All I can say is that your channel is one of my favourite channels focused on TWDG, I am grateful to you for making all those videos and thank you so much for what you did for this fandom. For all of us. Thank you for what you did for us. For sure I will never forget about your channel and about your videos :’-) ... My opinion about this cut content: My heart melted when Clementine said “Dad” to Lee. Owwww I wish it would be in the game, even if I know she was dreaming, so she didn’t call Lee a dad. But still, it was really cute. I wish it wouldn’t get cut, like the rest of Clementine’s quotes about her dad. And I laughed so hard when I heard unused dialogue during original dinner scene. I am glad it wasn’t used.
5:53 About first person segments - I totally forgot that in Season 4 we could see couple scenes with first person segments: - In Episode 1, when Clementine wakes up for a moment after the car accident, when she saw that Marlon is taking AJ - Shortly after, when Clementine wakes up in the room - In Episode 3, during scene in James' barn - Later in the same episode, when Minerva hits Clementine in Louis'/Violet's cell
I also think the train station had a bigger part to play in ep 3. In the episode trailer there was a scene of omid and christa fighting off walkers if i can remember
Dan Heaford also in the cover duck is alive well and not bitten they seem to look happy on the cover maybe episode 3 wasn’t originally as tragic as it was

Was there any unused audition tapes for the other characters such as Kenny and Lily? It's so fascinating hearing a cast that couldn't have been. Imagine if they actually went with different actors, I think Benji's Lee would've actually been very interesting!
Man, your compulsive attitude towards Season Two sounds just like me. lol Good to finally get this highly requested video out of the way, though. Looking forward to the next one.
The update video will be kinda minor in the same vain as this video but after this series is done, my next video can only be described as a bombshell when it comes to S2.
I can safely say it's been a pleasure to follow you dissecting these games for the last few years. They aren't perfect, far from it, but Telltale's take on The Walking Dead universe will forever remain as one of my favorite game series, despite it's low points here and there. I hope that even after you're done with these games, that you'll still be able to produce videos of this quality for as long as you can.
The Dinner scene had many options as there could be multiple people getting their legs chopped off. Mark and the dude in the bear trap were the differences and mark could've just stayed at the motor inn and not died.
4:09 I found even more evidence that you were right (which you might not have known) if you check out “The Walking Dead: Crafting a Stylized World for the Mature Franchise” by GDC, from 3:39 - 5:58 they confirm it and even show their first prototype of the game!
I plan on stickin’ around! Thank you for giving us a new in-sight in how things could’ve been. I hope one day, we’ll get a big leak from an ex ttg. The things they didn’t use are just so interesting. Anyways, thanks, InColdBlood. Can’t wait for yer next video! -Ian.
I wanna say thank you for this video. I’m sorry people seemed to bother you too much about what you believed to be “minor cut content” but what you may not realize is that, minor or not, cut content is still cut content and we want to see every bit of it. A lot of what you shown has never been seen/mentioned before elsewhere as far as I’m aware. Again thank you for this video (albeit I wasn’t one of the people begging for it) because I can never get enough of the cut content for this game (and games in general). I hope you continue on to do the other TellTale games, maybe even finish The Wolf Among Us cut content series you started on awhile back.
Definitely going to finish that Wolf series. Also you're right, I guess I just assume people are familiar with it or won't care about 'smaller' stuff as opposed to bigger scenes that were removed. My concern is always not trying to make my videos too long. I was actually just gonna make this one big video with every season included but it was over an hour - felt much better to pace it out video by season.
InColdBlood - Understandable. Super long videos isn’t good for watch time as most people probably won’t watch videos that are too long. Maybe do parts more often? I’m not sure but at least for me, I don’t mind length and hearing about even the minor cut content.
InColdBlood, personally I would’ve loved a video that was an hour or longer, but I know that length of video can be a little too much for some people. Either way I hope that content from the hour long video doesn’t get wasted and you can make more great videos with it!
You're downright the biggest Telltale dataminer, as TCRF and Hidden Palace have pretty much ignored anything related too Telltale So thank you for showing us all of these amazing things when no one else bothered
As someone whose been around since your first video i just wanted to thank you for the hard work you put into each video. I absolutely adore these games with all my heart and it's always a treat to learn about these lost scenes and lines. Starved for help is my favorite episode as well, there's just something about the atmosphere and pacing that works well with the looming dread of the reveal (even though I'll admit I was hoping it wasn't what it looked like right up until I found Mark.) Jolene and the dinner scene are my segments and while I'm glad that the original dinner scene was cut, I'm not really sure how I feel about the Jolene lines that were axed. it's one thing to read them but hearing them left me genuinely disturbed and I can see why it mostly toned down. It's insane to me that those lines and the original dinner scene were at one being developed together! My question is, do we know if the original dinner was animated before it was cut? It's the funniest thing I've heard in years and I'd pay to see it in it's full glory if it exists.
You know, I am a really big fan of TWDG. But the community had a weird shift, especially with season 4's release, that focuses more on shipping characters and whatnot than the game, the story, the horror elements, the writing, and the actual development of the characters and I kinda saw myself out of the groups I was in, pages I followed, etc. Your channel is great though. Your content is the kinda stuff that interests me, and keeps a bit of the life in the game world that has kinda disappeared with the hype that accompanies new releases. I'm sure it's difficult to continue keeping up content, and I know editing is a long process. So thank you for doing what you do!
i think in season 2 when clementine is waking up from being shot you can see a first person persepective of her in the backseat waking up to kenny and Jane arguing with eachother
I know this video is about season 1, but you mentioned how a lot of season 2 has been kept confidential. Well, originally, the developers had the idea of making it so that there was supposed to be a "darkest ending". Most of you probably know about it already, but Clementine was supposed to walk through the white out conditions (snowy white screen) and stop, then either die with AJ, or make the choice to leave AJ behind, and walk to her death by herself.
Thanks to you, I’ve learned so much about the Walking Dead and it’s early concepts. I think Season 2 is definitely the most mysterious. Best of luck to you with future projects, you’ve got my support, keep up the amazing work!
The dinner scene is HILARIOUS lmaoooo Also, will you be including info from the developers from the commentary tracks or just the files? Great work dude, i love how thourough you are ☺
Thanks, I haven't actually listened to the ANF dev commentary yet so I'll have to check that out but as for S2 I'll be talking about that after this update series ends.
I swear you are the best TWD you tuber on this platform. You give the best stuff and actually dig into game files and you always show something new, please, keep it up
8:39 The 4rth model from the left might very well be concept art for Shane ( Rick Grimes " best friend" ) from the first 6 issues of the walking dead. There was also concept art for other characters from the comics including Abraham, Glenn, and Rick. So I wonder if in very early versions of the games story would've involved a prequel type story of how the comic characters got to the outskirts of Atlanta before Rick Grimes did. Meaning Shane would've took Lori, and Carl to Macon after they fed Kentucky, after Rick was shot, and then fed to the outskirts of Atlanta. Although one whole in that theory is why would Abraham be there if he was in Texas during the outbreak.
I’ve really enjoyed your walking dead cut content videos! There is just so much cut content for these games it really makes for some interesting discussion on what could have been and what was almost in the game. I’m excited to see what you do next for you channel though!
I LOVE your content. You present shit so professionally and dive in so deep to grab as much visually as possible to present and explain, and add that gorgeous soundtrack in the background. Been a fan since your very early days and can't wait to see more!
15:33 So, this is actually interesting I've thought of a scenario: Everything plays the same until Lee becomes suspicious of the whole thing. Once you decide to go upstairs and check on Mark, you'd actually find him "sleeping" on the bed, but the blanket covers his entire body, and the blanket thing makes sense because there's already a storm outside, so it's natural for ANYONE to assume it's cold in there, but you won't be able to notice that his legs are already cut off and you're about to eat them, and here you're giving a choice: "Check on Mark and wake him up" or "Check the room" and something like that, or just go back and eat with the rest. Now, if you choose to check on Mark or whatever, you'd notice the blood and everything and maybe he ends up waking and explains to the whole thing, and the whole "DON'T EAT THAT!" thing plays out. On the other hand, if you choose to go back and eat, or maybe say something like "awww poor Mark, I don't wanna wake him up" this whole script 15:33 ends up happening. And probably Mark wakes up anyway in pain screaming for help, Lee runs upstairs to see what's happening, discovers the whole thing, and then gets knocked out by Andy/Danny, resulting in the meat locker scene with different/extra dialogue.
I read somewhere a while ago that in an earlier version of the game, Mark was supposed to still be alive in episode 3 but he’d get left behind in the raid.
really glad ur not closing down this channel and will continue to make videos because albeit the cut content is what generates the views ur commentary is also really good and has an aesthetic feel to it lmao, thank u for all the hard work uve put in to these videos over the past few years
Sometimes I wished that Telltale make someday a reboot of The Walking Dead Season 1, which most of the characters didn't died this time, so we can see a more deeper characters development about them. It could be awesome if in that supposed reboot, we can see more about Lee's past about how he ended up killing that senator who was sleeping with her wife and about his parents and brother (which that stuff was actually dropped after the first episode). Showing how, when and where exactly Lee's group met Mark. Also showing a little a more about the bandits from Macon and their camps, the school were Ben was formerly studying, the survivor staff from the "Save-Lost" supermarket, and showing also more about the cannibal family of the St. Johns, along with their strategies to hunting and butchering people (like the scrapped information that the modified bear trap that David felt actually belong to the St. Johns to capture other people, and using their remains as food, and the dirty clothes hided inside of their barn, which clearly belonged to the people that they killed), to eat and sell their remains to the bandits. Also showing a Crawford where the survivors were still alive during Lee and his group's journey, so we can see how cruel and unhuman were exactly the Crawford group and how armed and dangerous they were. Because we only saw tapes of the pregnant girl, the corrupt and cruel doctor, and Molly when Crawford was still alive, but we don't how were exactly the rest of the people. If the people were so desperate like the bandits, or brainwashed people with fake smiles, intimidated by fear, or even like a fanatic religious cult. And more informations about the Stranger, like his actual name and how the f*ck managed to travel from Macon to Savahnna with the same car that Lee's group stole his food from it, considering also the gasoline and the danger on the road. I also believe that the Season 1 characters had a lot potential to let them live, along with Clementine, and show them in a more post-apocaliptic enviroment. I would have like to see characters like Doug, inventing more stuff to help Lee's group, like improvised silencers for the guns, modifing the guns' functions or even making some kind of prostetic arma and legs for Lee and others; or Carley not only becoming officially Lee's girlfriend and a mother figure for Clementine, but also turning into a badass "headshot" walker shooter, very skilled for the group; or Katjaa accepting finally the idea of using weapons to defend therselves a being almost a life savior with her medical treatments; or Duck learning to defend himself like Clementine, or showing Kenny without turning into an insane and savage man, having his family (or at least his son) alive; or Chuck telling more wise advises to Lee and the others to help him to survive much better; or Ben finally learning about his mistakes, being more responsable and useful with his actions; or Christa and Omid meeting the rest of Lee's group tha died previously.
Ok is it just me or does Ben have more of a southern accent in those lines about the bandits? Maybe I just never noticed it but damn, he seems to have an accent now.

All I can say is that your channel is one of my favourite channels focused on TWDG, I am grateful to you for making all those videos and thank you so much for what you did for this fandom.
For all of us.
Thank you for what you did for us.
For sure I will never forget about your channel and about your videos :’-)
...
5:53 About first person segments - I totally forgot that in Season 4 we could see couple scenes with first person segments:
- In Episode 1, when Clementine wakes up for a moment after the car accident, when she saw that Marlon is taking AJ
- Shortly after, when Clementine wakes up in the room
- In Episode 3, during scene in James' barn
- Later in the same episode, when Minerva hits Clementine in Louis'/Violet's cell
Oh damn, I should have remembered the ep3 barn scene being in first person...
I also think the train station had a bigger part to play in ep 3. In the episode trailer there was a scene of omid and christa fighting off walkers if i can remember
Dan Heaford also in the cover duck is alive well and not bitten they seem to look happy on the cover maybe episode 3 wasn’t originally as tragic as it was
@@Kmn2 oh yeah when I saw the ep3 title slide duck was happier on train more than the tractor and ben was in front and supposed to be chuck it sucks that it did not happen in the gameplay
I waited one year for this, and i have no regrets.
That dinner scene cut content
I'm dying 😂😂
Was there any unused audition tapes for the other characters such as Kenny and Lily? It's so fascinating hearing a cast that couldn't have been. Imagine if they actually went with different actors, I think Benji's Lee would've actually been very interesting!
Man, your compulsive attitude towards Season Two sounds just like me. lol
Good to finally get this highly requested video out of the way, though. Looking forward to the next one.
The update video will be kinda minor in the same vain as this video but after this series is done, my next video can only be described as a bombshell when it comes to S2.
InColdBlood, Woah, I’m very excited to watch that!!!!
Glad to see you again! And glad you're branching out to new content!
Ben’s original voice sounds like shaggy lol
4:09 I found even more evidence that you were right (which you might not have known)
if you check out “The Walking Dead: Crafting a Stylized World for the Mature Franchise” by GDC, from 3:39 - 5:58 they confirm it and even show their first prototype of the game!
Yep, the full video I think is actually on UA-cam now but I was shown it a few years ago when it wasn't public.
And yeah, I’d say it was also best to do these videos by season instead of all of them in one.
InColdBlood, personally I would’ve loved a video that was an hour or longer, but I know that length of video can be a little too much for some people. Either way I hope that content from the hour long video doesn’t get wasted and you can make more great videos with it!
@@Bestgameplayer10 Blah blah blah shut up anyways.
Crazy to Think these videos are up to three years old, I've always loved your analysis and the manner of talk/text.
Yeah I still find it hard to believe my videos are 3 years old. I feel like im perptually stuck in 2018, it really doesn't feel that long ago.
you’re alive :D
You're downright the biggest Telltale dataminer, as TCRF and Hidden Palace have pretty much ignored anything related too Telltale
So thank you for showing us all of these amazing things when no one else bothered
It's the funniest thing I've heard in years and I'd pay to see it in it's full glory if it exists.
i looooove the older brenda voice actor. the one in game is great too, but the original sounds more authentic
So thank you for doing what you do!
with vi,louis and gabe in the mix i would understand some shippers would pop up since not alot of love was in the series other then carly and kate
@@tundrainnit2621 Maybe I'm the crazy one, but romance isn't what grips me personally in zombie survival stories.
@@thebreakfastmenu yeah i didnt say it was, maybe teltale was trying out something new
8:18 Has the Plants Vs Zombies game over screen
Its says
"The Zombies Ate Your Brains!"
How did i not see that 💀😭
i think in season 2 when clementine is waking up from being shot you can see a first person persepective of her in the backseat waking up to kenny and Jane arguing with eachother
Here's the commentary about it from the developers: ua-cam.com/video/BFYF34KzJN4/v-deo.html
You are one of my favourite UA-camrs in terms of TWD content, you really deserve more attention.
9:25
sure
Virgin Telltale: *Endlessly explaining why a first person mode is a great idea*
Chad Management: *“Lol No”*
Virgin is better then chad
I like you dude, you're very genuine about what you passions are and are trying to show them to the public eye. You earned a new subscriber.
YOOO THIS CUT CONTEST IS AMAZING. Your a real GOD for having the time to make this man. You earned a sub.
Thanks to you, I’ve learned so much about the Walking Dead and it’s early concepts. I think Season 2 is definitely the most mysterious. Best of luck to you with future projects, you’ve got my support, keep up the amazing work!
I just want you to remember me when you get famous, I was here from the beginning
The dinner scene is HILARIOUS lmaoooo
Also, will you be including info from the developers from the commentary tracks or just the files?
Great work dude, i love how thourough you are ☺
Thanks, I haven't actually listened to the ANF dev commentary yet so I'll have to check that out but as for S2 I'll be talking about that after this update series ends.
I really like Larry's dialogue, it's hilarious.
@@Samuel152he is a jerk but he was only looking out for his daughter and he really did have a temper and it probably got worse into the apocalypse
@@KingJuliantheloneliestwolf Lilly explained that he was already like that prior before the apocalypse.
Meaning Lee's group and Shane's group could've broken off from each other in early versions of the story.
that frickin dinner scene man..... omg
About the first person segments, Final Season actually uses one more when you go into the building full of Walkers.
Been waiting for so long, thank you for making another video
I’ve really enjoyed your walking dead cut content videos! There is just so much cut content for these games it really makes for some interesting discussion on what could have been and what was almost in the game. I’m excited to see what you do next for you channel though!
I left the subtitles on on accident and it kept putting 'cock' instead of cut XD
I LOVE your content. You present shit so professionally and dive in so deep to grab as much visually as possible to present and explain, and add that gorgeous soundtrack in the background. Been a fan since your very early days and can't wait to see more!
You are literally my favorite twd UA-camr, you provide the best info and content
15:33
So, this is actually interesting
I've thought of a scenario:
Everything plays the same until Lee becomes suspicious of the whole thing. Once you decide to go upstairs and check on Mark, you'd actually find him "sleeping" on the bed, but the blanket covers his entire body, and the blanket thing makes sense because there's already a storm outside, so it's natural for ANYONE to assume it's cold in there, but you won't be able to notice that his legs are already cut off and you're about to eat them, and here you're giving a choice:
"Check on Mark and wake him up" or "Check the room" and something like that, or just go back and eat with the rest.
What if after all them attempts to persuade Clementine, Lee just screamed out, “ITS PEOPLE!”
He technically even know option is still able to say that
I read somewhere a while ago that in an earlier version of the game, Mark was supposed to still be alive in episode 3 but he’d get left behind in the raid.
really glad ur not closing down this channel and will continue to make videos because albeit the cut content is what generates the views ur commentary is also really good and has an aesthetic feel to it lmao, thank u for all the hard work uve put in to these videos over the past few years
Nice work! I can’t wait for the other two parts to this series. I love the humor you’ve been putting into your videos lately. Keep it up :)
Also the mystery behind season 2 leaves me to think the series could have been something else if they didnt hold back
i’m not gonna lie, I like the idea of how important Clem’s father was to her. That would’ve been awesome to be kept in the final story.
HEYYY! A NEW CUT CONTENT. LETS GOOO
Lee being an extreme hover parent is hilarious
Ok is it just me or does Ben have more of a southern accent in those lines about the bandits? Maybe I just never noticed it but damn, he seems to have an accent now.
this channel has been a very good part of my experience with the walking dead. Hope you can make some videos here and there. Thank you for even starting it in the first place
I'm so glaad you're back! I luv your videos!! ♡
Your videos have such a big vibe of mystery and feeling anxious, I love it :D
thank you for your work! this game will always be in my heart, and your channel helps to discover more and more interesting stuff about it
how do you have so much passion for this game, just wow.
You are actually doing an amazing job, my dude! If only I had a good recording software... ^^
ive also wondered what happened to the city in the image for episode 5, i also really wondered what would've been in the town if clems group didn't get ambushed
9:10 Molly was the one sleeping with him, not her sister.
Thanks for making these TWD cut content vids dude, I've been following since you posted those old ANF videos, and I've enjoyed them ever since, so it's a bummer you're gonna stop making them but the reasoning behind it is really understandable. Thanks man, I'm dying to see what you'll do in the future ;D
8:19 I can make out of those saying "The Zombies ate your brains!", which it may sounded reference to another zombie game, which it's Plants vs. Zombies. Which it's of a game over screen whatever you let any type of a zombie enter your house and kills you.
9:25 lol
man, do whatever as long as you enjoy it. i'd watch anything you make cause your videos made me look at the walking dead as much more than just a game.
Wow I thought you where not gonna upload anymore cause I thought that there wasn't anymore cut content
8:20 isn't that just PvZ ?
It actually is! I just thought it was a weird placeholder gameover screen they made in 3 minutes.
Now that Larry sodium line, that one's gold! haha
18:50
that "Sorry Dad..." kinda hurts me
i always wondered why ben was squinting into a herd of walkers and wondering what he was seeing before realising its a massive herd.
makes sense now that i know they changed it from night to day.
I’m pretty sure the dad lines from clementine were in the 360 version when it first came out Atleast, I specifically remember the droppings line
OH YEAH! MY FAVOURITE CUT CONTENT CHANNEL IS BACK BABY! Eventhough I haven't watched the video yet I know its gonna be good! Love the videos man:) also I really hope you do more cut content stuff on different games. That would be pretty cool if so.
9:51 I’m pretty sure this is because Christa had katjaa’s skin model shown in the early teaser for twd
9:25 Holy crap thanks for that
Hope you stay motivated to keep doing stuff about this series! I love watching your videos, thank you for the compilations, opinions, theories, etc!
9:23 you actually got me with that
8:30 idk why but i swear as a kid i remember those images being used for covers (sewers and clementine w the zomb)
I’m guessing for the dinner scene that they were going to have a different path to not having clementine (and I guess anyone else) from figuring out the cannabalism directly
