Robert always says in his videos that their aren’t any rules bro makeup but there are definitely some theory’s. Meaning yea u can donut makeup however u want but if it doesn’t last as long as it’s supposed to , maybe it’s because u didn’t apply it properly, u did it ur way. I just think I would listen to a professional makeup artist for certain tips and tricks especially being a makeup artist for 20 years. He has the experience and had learned from mistakes and is tryna teach us. But hey, do u❤
