I have former homosexual friends that asked me to attend a private wedding. They knew I didn't condone their relationship. I explained I wouldn't attend because it went against the Lord God's plan for marriage. They never went through with the marriage, and after seven years of friendship with these two, they renounced homosexuality, to Lord God, me and the LGBT community. They're still good friends and godly witnesses of the grace of Christ to transform us. My love for them and my refusal to condone their lifestyle was a testimony of Christ that drew them into repentance.

Begg talked about the difference between British/European evangelism and American evangelism. As I've said on another platform, as a British Christian, I can confirm to everyone that there is only BIBLICAL evangelism. We must not affirm open rebellion to God's will in any way.

This is sad, but it is also scary when considering how quickly, how easily all of us, me most of all, would rely on our 'own wisdom'. We must rely on Christ, we must pray for one another and encourage one another. Let us pray for Alistair, and perhaps even fast over this. What is also shocking is the enormous support of 'reformed' believers and the lines that are being drawn, which tempt both sides to sin when engaging one another.

@@annodomini7250 Are you unaware that this is a quote Jesus made? We must love God above all things, above anyone or anything. It is not loving to dishonor God and celebrate the sins that lead people to hell. That doesn't build bridges but perpetuates sin that harms the soul and destroys lives. The result of honoring and following Jesus is that many people (even family members) will reject us and hate us, because of our love of and obedience to God. Jesus said they will hate us because they hated Him first. This is a valid quote for the situation, and if you misunderstand it, it may be because you have not read or do not study the Bible. If you do, you have misunderstood the text and why it is a relevant quote, in this situation. For those who truly believe, personal sin is so grievous, we want nothing more than to be sanctified, turn from sin, and follow our Shephard, even if we lose people we love by standing by the truth of the Gospel.

I have a gay nephew who is my favourite relative. He is actually the only person in the family who will talk and listen respectfully with me about God. He lives with his boyfriend and I am on friendly terms with him, and hold no animosity with either of them; they are not professing Christians, they are of the world. BUT if they invited me to a wedding, my dividing line would be honouring God as HOLY. One of my (and I use it only for me) go to verses to keep me on point with the things of God. Numbers 20:12, (This is God's rebuke of Moses and Aaron at the waters of Meribah where God declares what they did has resulted in them being disqualified of taking the people into the promised land.)
"And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, 'Because you DID NOT BELIEVE IN ME TO UPHOLD ME AS HOLY in the eyes of the people of Israel' ". I hold to the sentiment of this verse as showing the seriousness of how God views Himself. I truly believe I must, before anything else, with my actions and words to show my belief that HE IS HOLY and must be upheld as HOLY.

God is a jealous God and punished Moses and Aaron for saying they brought forth the waters when it was, in fact God who told them to speak to the rock. If God would stop Moses and Aaron from entering The Promised Land because they failed to give honor to God, what will happen to pastors who lead millions of people astray by their careless and sinful advice to people they don't even know?

I am a woman who lived most of my life as a gay person. 2005 God delivered me from this lifestyle and I am eternally grateful. I was completely ostracized by my gay peers most vehemently. I chose to love them and try to speak to them in truth with love, however they wanted nothing to do with any of that or me. In these many years since I have come to know other homosexual people, usually through work settings and they have been much more open to hearing what I have to say. I do not hate them or judge them and they appreciate that and the fact that although I can not be a participant or condone their lifestyle they are open to hearing the gospel message and appreciating that I pray for them and their partners and that they may know how our Lord can and will change their hearts and minds as He did for me.

“Love does not delight in evil” (I Cor. 13) is sometimes translated as “Love does not rejoice in unrighteousness.” Both mean that we should not celebrate what God says is wrong. Where did you get the idea that the grandmother was "celebrating" the marriage? Before Alistair suggested that she attend, she already had expressed her belief that homosexual marriage is a sin. So what makes people think that she wanted to attend in order to "celebrate" the marriage? Mere attendance, and even the bringing of a gift, does not automatically signify approval or celebration. If that was the case, Jesus would never have dined with tax collectors and "other sinners." So, you believe that her love for her grandson means that she delights in evil? The state may deem him a pastor, but clearly the state has no authority in the church. A few had left the church. They did not want to hear anything I had to say. I closed that door and actually moved away and got off facebook and instagram.. I hate that sin and find it repulsive. And believe me, satan is angry and tries to tempt me with nasty dreams but I know God loves me so much that He chose me to come out of Babylon and for a time like this. I had raised my son in that lifestyle and asked him to please forgive me for not raising him in a proper household. At first he had a difficult time accepting me as a Christian mother but thanks be to Father in Heaven ouŕ relationship is flourishing. 🙏 God bless you and keep you in His grace.

@@YashuahservantThanks for sharing your life story. 🙏 I have watched Matt Walsh's "What is a Woman?" documentary. That was truly eye opening. Especially bc it shines a light on the trans rights with children choosing to be mutilated. There are more detransitioners that the far left want to ignore. I think one girl was named Chloe. She had double mastectomy at 15. When she told the gender affirming card doctors that she had regrets, they totally turned on her. Even telling her that she should have known the risks.
I have a dear family friend that is in a lesbian relationship. We cannot get into any political topics and especially not what the Bible says about these sins. God destroyed the earth with a flood bc of wickedness and sin. And God destroyed Sodom & Gomorrah bc of their gross immorality and homosexuality. I really care about my friend, but I would not celebrate with their civil union ceremony and I wouldn't buy them a gift.
Our friendship has grown more distant the deeper I study my Bible and read the Word of God. She believes in God but is far from God.
I pray for my friend and her partner. 🙏 That somehow or someway He will draw them to Himself.
We are all sinners saved by grace. My sins are different. I've repented. I continue to pray for their eyes to be opened and they repent of their lifestyle.
Unfortunately, the alphabet people hang out with only other alphabet people or people who support and encourage their lifestyle. They don't get validated by Bible Believing Christians. So, they usually call us homophobs or close minded or other label.

I would apply the same logic here too. Alistair brought shame upon The Body of Christ. Alistair's previous comments on homosexual sin means nothing now. It's arrogant to think that we save souls that are the work of God and the Holy Spirit. Watching 2 people affirm their path to hell while giving them a gift is wrong. Judgement starts at the church GOD is Not mocked.
1 John 2:15-29 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.
These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.
But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

I have been listening to your fantastic teaching about compassion, and how to love the un-lovely, and it has been a HUGE help to me in my Christian walk....I watched the hysteria unfold in an evangelical church here in America which did indeed look very much like the prodigal older brother with no understanding of grace and saw an explanation of why so many in this culture dismiss the church as 'haters'. God Bless you, mighty man of faith, and servant of the Most High. My walk toward heaven is a little straighter today because of your teaching, and I say that with no intention of changing my basic understanding of the reformed faith. Matt 23 is an incredibly important chapter - Jesus goes in HARD on the Pharisees for a whole chapter - there's nothing else like it where he scorches with criticism quite like it in scripture - and the whole basis of it is legalism, and keeping the letter of the law while being without love or mercy.

I'm wondering, from many of these comments, if most of you even listened to Pastor Begg's sermon. People! None of his beliefs about LBG** have changed. The title of the sermon was so masterful. It frames the "controversy" perfectly. His tone was loving and measured. He didn't "defend" his opinion. Instead, he gently used Scripture to explain his reasoning. (Like Jesus did to his critics...turn to a parable. Some will understand; the rest will continue to accuse.) He could have easily said that his critics were like the Pharisees, but he didn't. I was ready for him to use I Cor 8:13 to gently turn the tables and say these "Christian" critics were the "weaker brother." No, he simply states his case. I admire him for that. I liked, as part of his advice, that grandma should give a Bible as a gift. I wish we knew how it all turned out! Put two believers together and it won't take long for them find something upon which to disagree (presidential candidates, pro-life/pro-choice, political party affiliations, pre-/post-/a-millennials, etc. ad nauseam) Here's another sad case of where non-believers watch "woke" believers going on another rampage. Grandma shows compassion while the rest condemn. P.S. By the way, notice that there is no "Alistair Beggs Ministry." He's humble. Didn't know much about the man before, but now I'm going to follow his sermon series.

I don't know how much more hearing about this I can take. This is the 5th or 6th video on it. It needs to be done, I'm not disagreeing with that. I just can't take it anymore. I watched a portion of his response where he said he will not repent and doesn't need to repent. It was horrifying. I tried to watch more of it, but I just can't. I don't even know what the Prodigal Son parable has to do with this situation. The main focus of the parable is repentance. There was no repentance from this trans person. And there's no repentance from him. So... what's the point of using this passage?!
What's most horrifying is seeing all the professing Christians actually defending his original advice. That has left me stunned. And sick. The church of Jesus Christ is supporting "trans" "weddings" now? Seriously?!

"Those who do "love the truth" (2 Thessalonians 2:10)
are they in whom a divine work of grace has been
wrought. They have something more than a clear,
intellectual understanding of the Scripture: it is the
food of their souls, the joy of their hearts (Jeremiah
15:16). They love the truth, and because they do so,
they hate error and shun it as deadly poison. They are
jealous for the glory of the Author of the Word, and
will not sit under a minister whose teaching dishonors
Him; they will not listen to preaching which exalts man
into the place of supremacy, so that he is the decider
      of his own destiny."

The argument of Jesus eating with sinners? If you read Matthew 9:9-11 you will read that Jesus went and called to Matthew to follow him. Then it says that many tax collectors and sinners came and reclined at the table. What people tend to think is, Jesus went to the sinners and tax collector and hung out with them. That is not the case. The same happens in Luke 15, where the tax collectors and sinners were drawing near to Jesus. Again, the sinners and tax collectors followed Jesus. He was telling them truth, and ministering to them, not compromising and conforming to their life styles.
As Christian’s we should never conform to the world, Romans 12:2 tells us not to be conformed to the world but be transformed by the renewal of our minds.

Thanks for the video, Justin. The "Love trumps Truth" concept has been a stain on orthodox Christianity for decades. And, because love is a good thing, this problem can fly under the radar for a very long time and not be noticed. At my former church (which I had been at for over 18 years), the lack of truth appeared as a lack of discernment, pietism, a failure to "understand the times", and failure to teach the whole counsel of God. The "love trumps truth" unbalance at my church became exposed during the events of 2019-2020 (social justice, riots, kovidd, masks, vakseens, etc). When confronted about their silence, the leadership of the church saw no issues and basically told me I was being "too divisive" or "too political", as if the Word of God had nothing to say about these matters. I left that church and I'm still looking for another one. Videos like yours help me a lot in the meantime. 🙂

Brethren, thank you so much for the biblical stand in Alistair's unbiblical counsel, indicating his affirmation of sin that may be stumbling block to many both saved and unsaved. This grieves my heart because I remember when I sat in a conference listening to his teaching at Cedarville University in the late 90s. I think one of the great marks of godliness, maturity, and wisdom is one to be able to humble himself or herself and repent of sin. There is so much joy in true humility and repentance.
One thing I disagree with you is to refuse counseling to someone you don't know. Biblical truth is universal and should not be limited to someone you know or attend to your local church. If one is not part of a local church, counsel the person to have Biblical sound church to attend regularly and counsel the person with any issues in the light of the Bible. There are other situations you cannot provide counseling and in those situations, give a reason you are not able to provide counsel. Maybe there are some details you don't know. What about if the person has a local church but it is a church pastored by Todd white, Joseph Prince, Joe Laughing Osteen, etc. are you going to let them go to these wolves to be devoured? With love in Christ!

Matthew 10:16-22, 26-28, 32-39 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
      But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.
But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

Will that then completely undermine ALL their years of speaking and living biblical truth? What about all those people who have come to a TRUE understanding of God's love and Jesus' sacrifice under their teaching, if they come out in favor of Allistair's position? Those saved, will their salvation be meaningless then. What if these pastors don't say anything? Will they be damned if they do, damned if they don't. @@krisrader1711 To answer your question, yes. None of the "good" that they did will be remembered. “But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? All the righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; because of the unfaithfulness of which he is guilty and the sin which he has committed, because of them he shall die. (Eze 18:24). And again, we read, "Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, My soul shall have no pleasure in him" (Heb 10:38)
It's called apostasy. It is a proof of their reprobation and that they never were of Christ's household. "They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us" 1 John 2:19
But if you need proof that long years of ministry is no proof of God's acceptance of that person, and that God suffers reprobate people (for a time) to take care of His Church for its upkeep, read Eze 44:10-14
“And the Levites who went far from Me, when Israel went astray, who strayed away from Me after their idols, they shall bear their iniquity. Yet they shall be ministers in My sanctuary, as gatekeepers of the house and ministers of the house; they shall slay the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister to them. Because they ministered to them before their idols and caused the house of Israel to fall into iniquity, therefore I have raised My hand in an oath against them,” says the Lord God, “that they shall bear their iniquity. And they shall not come near Me to minister to Me as priest, nor come near any of My holy things, nor into the Most Holy Place; but they shall bear their shame and their abominations which they have committed. Nevertheless I will make them keep charge of the temple, for all its work, and for all that has to be done in it"
Should I also say, this undiscerning attitude which is so willing to compromise in the name of "love" (not love to God's glory or the purity of the Church in any way) disgusts me. This whole thing smacks of uncircumcised hearts and ears.

Judas was a disciple who proclaimed the gospel, cast out demons, and totally fell as he was never saved. As to your statement about splitting hairs, the devil splits hairs so we need to be careful with our handling of God's Word. This is all serious. An error like this can cause people to lack trust in the teacher or cause believers to ascribe to God's Word with evil and evil outcomes. That is the devil's work and Mr. Begg tragically now is being used as an instrument of evil. We need to pray for Mr. Begg and other pastors and church leaders daily. The big issue is if Mr. Begg refuses to see his error and refuses to repent. That’s where church discipline comes in as stated by Jesus and Paul in the NT. I think of the scripture the song of David when Israel was slain by the philistines with Saul and Jonathan. "How the mighty have fallen".

Thank you both for talking about this. It's got many of us upset.
