I think it's possible that the reason that LaRacer had the 911 as so iconic isn't because of it specifically, but because of how frequently the RUF CTR Yellowbird appeared in games a few years ago. Since RUF isn't FH4, they would've instead had to go with the Porsche that it was based on as the Yellowbird has the same body shape as the '82 911 Turbo that is used in the mission (this is just my speculation, it isn't stated anywhere that this is the case)

They still use Goodyear Eagles in NASCAR but the compound has definitely changed since the 80’s and 90’s

If you’re doing a Monte Carlo of that year, there’s no better option than doing the Dale Earnhardt Wrangler livery. It’s the most fitting for the generation and the car.

These cars aren’t that expensive haha, we chop up old ran down ones and give them “another life” as a dirt track car😬😂 they’re wicked fast tho
A good running example of that car irl will run you anywhere from 4-8k depending on body condition and mileage. But they're Damn good looking cars no doubt just gutless for a small block and remember they only came with the 200r4 auto, no manual from factory 😭.

The idea of a "stock" car is so hilarious because in the first days, the winning cars weren't stock, they tuned and upgraded everything they could get away with. In the 60s and 70s when they were actually inspected to make sure they were stock powered, but homologated, the actual manufacturers hid how powerful they were from NASCAR to be sure they could keep their advantages as long as possible *cough cough Charger Daytona*

back in like the 80s i think they raced off-road in these types of cars and the tires so they had no grip while racing

I wish they would make it possible for you to make this more like the actual nascar version. It sits way to high in the air and if they just did a body kit preset for a full blown nascar body it would just be perfect. And what you should have done was put the 6.2 liter v8 in. The stock one is only a 5.0 That kind of sucks in comparison to the 5.7.

Umm im pretty sure some Forza edition cars have the most grippy tires in the game,like the nissan gtr lm FE and the maserati mc12 FE.Those cars have more grippy tires than the normal cars in the game, that's why they got such a high PI than the non FE cars.Maybe you can compare the "nascar" tires to the "FE" tires in a future vid

And they can get very expensive depending on how rare the car is or what the model was
EDIT: you can buy the monte carlos like the one you're driving in this video for anywhere from 3 grand to 15 grand, depending on the condition. I have seen decent ones from 1980-1988 go for $3,000. I was looking at an 84 for $3500 before I bought my 2001 monte carlo.
The monte carlo *IS* an old nascar car, they used actual monte carlos in NASCAR. Nascar started out with actual production cars being raced, and the monte Carlo is one of the most famous of those cars.

Also, I cannot believe they used Actual nascar paint schemes. Unless this is a mod which in case never mind. That's actually Jeff Gordon's rainbow warrior paint scheme, although he never raced the older monte carlos. Eventually nascar switched over to the cars they use now, which are far from "stock"
Regardless, really cool to see this in a video game because as far as I know there are no official nascar games that let you use the older cars
I wish I could've gotten it on the action house,but unfortunately back when I got the Monte-Carlo it was much more rare,so I ended up actually completing the LaRacer storyline fully,it was worth it atleast
