I would love a more indepth video on the freeze dryer. What can and can't be freeze dried, what kind of leftovers do you do and how do you reconstitute? Does it change the flavor? I'm curious what all I could do with one.
All great questions. We have only reconstituted a few things like eggs and leftover chili and you can't tell the difference. However there are things you can't freeze dry. I'll look into doing a video of sorts
Looks delicious. Nothing like easy fruit and veggie snacks. I was munching on some baby carrots earlier these evening, dipped in some homemade Ranch dressing, handed down as a favorite family recipe - practically a family heirloom.
Thank you for sharing, I'm amazed I had no idea a freeze dryer had so much potential. Always wanted one for drying my flowers and couldn't justify but for doing snacks as well who knows.
Can you make a video showing you using the freeze dried food? Like if you're rehydrating leftovers I'd really like to see what they look like rehydrated.
I need a freeze dryer! I always end up making banana bread. Always have leftover whole bananas in my freezer waiting for me to make banana bread out of.
Thank you Jill for the video. I’m even more convinced now that we need a freeze dryer. I’ve wanted one for quite a while. Just gotta get my husband to agree to spend that much. 🫤
Nice demonstration video! But my inner self was screaming "Put the lid on the banana jar!!!" the whole time you were working with the Okra :). At least the okra can't be slimey if it is freeze dried. I keep trying to make myself like it. I loved it when I was a kid, I'm not sure what happened???

I will but we haven't used any yet. We are just trying to get as much food preserved as we can at the moment
You can double layer the bananas with parchment paper in between.
Great tip, thanks for sharing
Awesome video ... I have a freeze dryer on the way! It has shipped!😛 Thanks for the tips!!!
Hello friends! I always enjoy watching your videos. They are amazing. You have so much energy that you inspire others. Good luck to you💐❤️🌻👌👌👌😊
Thanks friend ❤
I double layer bananas on one tray with a paper into between
I didn't know we could do that! I'm going to try it.
Thanks Jill it was very helpful ✨✨💚

Jill: Good morning everyone I'm in my kitchen
Nate: (edit) she's in my kitchen....

They are a game changer. We don't know what we would do without it
I never put frozen food into my Freeze dryer until it gets below 32 degrees, so my frozen food does not warm up while it cools down below 32 degrees.

Thanks for sharing.
I would like to know
how long the freeze drying took for the bananas and okra.
awesome video girl thanks for sharing I was wondering could I dehydrate fruit instead of freeze drying them?
You can
Hey there! Are these okra sliced in half before freeze drying?
What are some ideas for those of us that not have freeze dryer other than banana bread
We just picked up our freeze dryer, did our first batch. Quick question, we’re your trays hot or cold? Why the towel?
Are the grapes & oranges good tasting in it?
Haven't tried freeze drying either one of those yet
Would freeze dried grapes be raisins. I like to freeze my gr as pe n eat frozen. Also frozen grapes in wine is great
@@barbarabartlett2804 that does sound good. Not sure about them turning to raisins. If so yuck, lol 😄
John in bibs has a good vid on drying grapes and so much more...check out his channel.
I want 1 of those freeze dryer so bad but can’t justify the cost 😭
We couldn't either but don't know what we would do without it now
