Seungri is the only group member who did two entire POP albums, in fact till this day he is the only person out of YGE with pure pop albums composed and produced by him. What always made me sad was that YG never gave him proper support like the other members and never gave him his own large tour. He said it himself that both his albums he has to directly design, look for materials, vendors and make contracts. For his music videos he had to do it himself. He looked for video producers, models, costumes, locations because he received absolutely no help from YGE at all. He was so exhausted and relied on his contacts and his friends. Seungri was also the kindest to all trainees in YGE because he was always so bright and energetic. While the rest of the members kept to themselves Seungri made such an effort to also remember trainees names. It made them feel seen and less alone in the company. People can say what they want but Seungri always made sure people were seen and heard even if he himself wasn’t. He would always be kind to fans and took pictures or if he couldn’t he would at least take a few minutes of his time to talk to fans while any other would just walk by them. He is the epitome of what a hard worker can achieve. My brother loved him so much because he was always trying new things. People looked down on him because he was “less” talented than the other members….but tell me who can surpass GD??? It’s impossible, even till now NO ONE can even come close to what he done for KPOP Seungri was just as important to GD tho.
ppl view seungri as less talented becoz he came from bigbang, imagine when a group has Gd, Top, Taeyang n Daesung....it's easy for seungri to be overlooked but even kvip said seungri is far better than most idols, he can easily be main vocalist n main dancer if he debut in other groups

So people got surprised and they have to listen again and again, because not only it was something new but it also addicting. As Seungri's stan, I also surprised with his talent and so proud that he prove them wrong. Seungri is least favourite member and has been looked down upon.
