I saw that game for the first time in a magazine. It was only a picture but I immediately fell in love with it. One of my favourite exclusives from PlayStation. Sucks that we'll never get a new game.
I find Modnation Racers a rather forgotten PS3 Racing game that had a lot of good potential. This is from the character, kart, and track customization. This has got to be one of the most advanced games on the system.
I actually just got a Vita a few days ago and this was one of the first games I bought since I loved it on PS3. It's going to take some getting used to with the track building controls and the frame rate, but I'm still having fun with it
The only thing that plagued this game was the long loading times. I think that's a thing that sadly turned many people away from it. This would be so good on the PS4 though! :D
Gosh I remember all the breadcrumb shortcuts I would make.... this game was the best! Hands down my second favourite car game. Close second to Mario Kart!
I might be alone on this, by my idea of content creation in modnation were genuine looking mods and matching karts that were similar to UFG's creations. As well as tracks that were 'proper' tracks with AI challenge instead of weird over the top crap that the AI can barely drive. All creations minus mine online were wacky and nonsensical while i seemed to be the only one following tradition haha.

This game really deserves a sequel.
No need for a sequel it's so costumizable that it's limitless. Man i feel like an urge to sideswipe some metal!!!

It needs an HD remake on the ps5 with new environments weather effects and extended area for making tracks

I had this game for Vita and PS3. SO MANY GOOD MEMORIES AND GAMES BACK THEN.

Justin Hemmati, Sony has closed the company. So unfortunately don't expect a sequel :'(
@@Loukoumakias I'd settle for a remaster with nothing more than the FPS bumped up to 60 and the memory capacity for created levels increased.

Only game that gets near to Mario kart in respect of fun... Is this... Sonic and crash team racing both too slow.
@@alexcolvill8137 Crash Team Racing can get quick at some times, especially if playing levels from Nitro-Fueled or Nitro Kart.

There were hundreds of master creators pumping out tracks, mods and karts.
