Dota will have another TI in August, that's gonna be between $20-30 Million added to the $200 Million that Dota 2 already has. Fortnite's announced $100 Million for 2019 won't overtake Dota 2, I hope simple maths is not too hard to understand for a Fortnite fan.

Fortnite said they would have a 100 million prize pool with the finals being 30 million. We are finished with week six and only 7 million dollars have been put in. 100 million - 70 million = 30 million. 7/6*10 is roughly 14. (Mental math done at night, may be way off) So the prize money should be 20% of what they said. The total prize pool of the Fortnite world cup is 20 million (20% of 100 million). That is less than any of Dota 2's international tournaments alone.
There was a moment in 2013 when Starcraft 2, Starcraft Brood War and Warcraft 3 held 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively. Not bad for a one company of rather forgotten rts genre. Even the leader, DOTA, is just a fledged out game of SC-Warcraft mod.
That's because BW and WC3 found homes in Korea and China. Even when the rest of the world just went to SCII. They even continued paying out till the very end.
