I Am SOOO Obsessed with this plant. I swear I can NOT stop touching these leaves. They are soft, furry and as hard as cardboard. Best way I can describe, is like cardboard, (When it is not dehydrated, cardboard). OBSESSED. TY for the info.
Wow, beautiful Hoya, and now on my wish list. I have never seen this in person and if I ever do, I will pick it up. Crazy about the confusion and miss labeling, I like that it looks similar to the Bilobata, and would love to find one. Thanks Sara for sharing, it is a gorgeous plant.
I am loving your Hoya videos. I have approx. 10 different species and just love them. Is there a certain seller that you find your plants at? I would love to get some other plants. Thank you for all the information you have been sharing.
Hey girl, you know your Hoya plants . This one sounds unique are rare as possible hard to find but just like the other ones in your videos I'm going to find it. Lol thanks for sharing
I’ve propagated it a couple of times in water. I just take off the bottom few leaves and give it lots of stem in the water. I also put it in a glass container near lots of bright indirect light. I also have propagated hoyas in LECA before with great success. (I have a video about that) Maybe I’ll have to do a video about propagating hoyas in water.

So I picked up this plant today at lowes & the leaves are firm & smooth. Whatever it is I’m happy for the $15 I paid for it.

Thanks so much! I buy some at local nurseries. I also like Etsy, Simple Starts Catalog, and Gardino’s.
I just got an”bilobata DS70” and it doesn’t NOT have fuzzy leaves. It had smooth leaves. So what your saying is these are a rare hoya?
Possibly!

Can you give any advice on propagating this gem? I have a cutting and I can't seem to make it happy!
