Sergio say that Lyft has great progress in transparency. I confess, I was excited. I live in the Chicago area, and that summary that the CEO is giving has already been sent to me, and unfortunately it does not say step by step what the passenger pays for each trip. It only gives you the summary of the week in conjunction with what the passenger supposedly paid. And I returned to my same situation the payment at the end of the day and by the hour and per week. It is not enough for a good income given the enormous expenses of working on a Gig. It is assumed that if you have a car to work, the car has to earn the same money as the driver. If not, how is it a business? That CEO is only trying to brainwash the driver and at the end of the day it is the same situation as always the very low payments and they are millionaires.

These scammers are not going to leave , they make a lot of money charging customers $100 while paying the drivers$19 ,who do all the work and put gas in the car , have car repair and car depreciation , we have a lot of operation cost that this is not sustainable anymore ,while the apps keep 60% 80% of the fare , honestly drivers feel like we are just working to put gas in the tank and continue driving the next day , you would say why you don’t get another job ? Well there is a psychological component here , I put it this way , Uber and Lyft did what drug dealers do , go around and give drug for free and get people hooked and then they can do whatever they want , we are ll addicted to the apps , you as a rider are not willing to go back to the traditional way of moving in taxis and give up true apps , we drivers like quick cash every day doing ride share and it’s not like a drivers will get a job tomorrow and we have families to feed , so the apps are not going to leave the gold mine cause that’s what it is a gold mine, they are making millions of the back of drivers and over charging passengers

What , Lyft and Uber did was after Covid. They pretty much use the same version of primetime and surge time for their own gain . This is why we don’t see high earnings anymore. We want prime time and search time back pinky swear is off a whole bunch of BS. I haven’t seen ride challenges or decent. Bonuses in about three years bring prime time and surge time back on the drivers end

As a longtime Lyft driver, I can honestly say that we aren't paid nearly enough. It's a complete joke. I seriously thinking about driving for Uber instead.
