It's been a long time to see your build but absolutely worth the wait. Very enjoyable from start to finish.....a very long build as well and an amazing job. Congratulations....hopefully we'll see more in the future.
Very nice, and kudos on building something a little different (not another BF-109 or Spitfire). First time I've seen someone use green stuff as gap filler - seemed to work out well.
Thanks :) I didn't know about that way of using the Green Stuff too. A friend told me about it and I decided to give it a try :) It's way more convenient than traditional putty in some cases (like this one).
I had the same problem with nose weight. I ended up with so much 'shot' in the nose that my nose gear buckled. Still, a lovely model all round and I'll deffo build another.
Thank you for this tutorial: I'll partly use your methods in my building. Will you be so kind to tell is it very difficult to take off liquid mask after painting? It's seems to me that it not so easy.
You're welcome :) As for the liquid mask - there's nothing easier than removing it. You can just roll it off with your finger. It's just an elastic silicone-like layer that is not attached to the surface. The most convenient way is just to use a toothpick and scrape it off delicately (wood should not scrape the clear part when used delicately).
Big Modeller Hope it is so! Didn’t make any models for a long time and now see to many changes. I look like real novice now. :-) I’ll try all my bests to make Airacobra not bad. Sure that your video will help me.
Super. ;)
Thanks :) I checked the history of this set on scalemates and there are versions of this very model with the soviet painting pattern. I just preferred this one.
Shame on you, Big Modeller, it doesn't take 10 hours to knead the green stuff, only 9 hours at the worst :) I recently bought one of these older Eduard kits, with the nose weight included - hopefully it will be enough. Anyway, your excellent build has given me lots of inspiration. I know I'll never attain your level of quality, but at least I now know what to aim for.
I didn't know there are sets with the ballast included. In this Cobra they didn't even write in the instructions how much weight should be added. Anyway, thanks for the good words :)
No to chyba dokończę te serie odcinkowe a nowe modele już będą w jednym kawałku.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm already working on the next "one movie" project :).
What superb work. Amazing finish. Great vid thanks for sharing.
Thanks for kind words mate :)
First time seeing your builds, very cool, I'll have to go through the back catalog 🙂
Good to have you here mate :)
THis kit is at the top of my stash......... glad I found this vid.
One of my favourites, pure joy of modelling.
Beautiful build.
Thanks :)
Thank you for the video. I'm still learning and you've helped me loads. Thank you.
You're welcome :)
Good stuff!
Thanks mate :)
I hope this movie will be of use for your build :)

A jillion times more detailed than I've ever made...or could make!
You can make whatever you want, the sky's the limit, mate :)
Elegancko! 👏 Taka forma prezentacji w zupełności wystarczy! Czekam na dokończenie innych dzieł!
Cieszę się, może będzie więcej takich filmów :)
Fantastic build. 👍🏼
Thanks :)
Nice to see you back. Don't leave it so long for your next video.
I'll do my best :)
A beautiful model!
Thank you :)
Love the channel! Very Funny and informative.
That's how I wanted it to be :)
Great build, great video! Great channel, great content!
I'm glad you like it, mate :)
Very effective a good model in a simple way . Great job !!!!!
Straight from the box. That's how I like it.
Great work and a very good proiect.Congratulation !
Thanks :)

Yep, it was a pure fun to make it

Big Modeller Thank you for your explanation. I didn’t use it before, only the paper mask. It will be my first experience. :-)
You'll try it - you'll love it ;)

Great work. Very nice Cobra. 😎👍
Thanks :)

I ile będzie się spać ;)
@@Big-Modeller To też prawda. :)
Took a while but the finished result looks great
Thanks :) Scale modelling is for patient people ;)
Very nice, and good to know about the ballast issues up front ( no pun intended). Maybe the inside of the bomb can help with that?
The bomb is located at the very center of gravity of the plane. Better is to put the counterweight as far on the front as possible.
Oh! my lost love, the P-39... 37mm vs Betty bomber. lovely.
:)
Fajny model może sam się zainteresuje
A pewnie, polecam :)
Left door is not can be open. Only for emergency bail out inflight.
Didn't know that, thanks :)
Big mam pytanie tą osłonę iglicy z tylu warto zdejmować przy malowaniu?
Z tyłu? Ja mam zdjętą bo mi się coś pogięło, normalnie bym miał porządnie złożony aerograf ;).
Do you spray or hand paint the small suspension parts green?
The only thing I hand painted was tires :).
PS. Ja mojego MiG'a robię od 1994 ;)
Outstanding work!
Shame they didn't include a set of Soviet markings. I always thought these planes looked good with red stars.
Thanks :)
