- The Les Miserables classic Castle on a Cloud sung by 3-year-old Claire Ryann! Castle on a Cloud was a song suggested by a UA-cam subscriber. We love Les Mis at our house, so we when we saw the comment we decided to show her the song. She fell in love with little Cosette! She sang it non-stop and asked to see the video of the classic version over and over for a few days. Then we decided to make our own video since she had already memorized the song. The whole thing from when she first heard the song to finished video was 14 days! By far our fastest video ever :)

This song is challenging for a 9 year old (the age of young Cosette) to sing, but for a 3 year old to be able to follow the melody and memorize the lyrics is nothing short of incredible. She's very talented.

She’s not whispering because she can’t hit the notes. She’s whispering because that’s what Cosette does in the movie for that part of the song.
I believe this is called a semi-falsetto (but I could be wrong, I'm no music expert.) Fred Astaire used to do something like this is many songs he sang. So this little girl is in good company!
This is no simple melody. She handles the minor tones of this song like a pro. ¡Que bendita!

The emotion put into to this whether it was deliberate or not is incredible for a 3 year old. Not only did she sing the song, she acted the song. It was so beautiful and Claire is so cute. This is one of my favourites of her videos!

compared to 20 year old singers, i think 3 years is much closer to 8. in that respect, i love this version, as it's just like you'd hear a child sing.

in many plays and operas i've attended, older men and women (16-24 yrs.) sing more complicated parts meant for the role of a child. a lot of people in theater are smaller, and there's many adults who can easily pose as a child and deliver the powerful performance if there are no child singers that can meet the requirements. heck, look at Grease and some Disney flicks where older actors perform as high schoolers!

She has such an authentic emotion when she sings, as well as a natural vibrato coming through. She’s going to go far as she gets older if she can maintain & harness it.

Les Mis is my #1 favourite musical of all times. Do not even know how many times I've seen it. And I thought all the covers of this song, already covered all possible ways of singing it. But once again YT proved I was wrong. This little girl managed to sing Cosette's song in her own unique way. Nobody before (known to me) was even close to her interpretation. Sometime, our limitations lead to beautiful things. I'm truly impressed

I was about... 5-6 years when my mom showed me This musical. I dident even make IT through The movie I turned The movie off in tears. I have never cried so much in my entire life. Im 13 now and has still not seen it bevandret Im afraid i will cry again. Now I need to see it.

Les Mis has a very special place in my heart. It was the first live show I ever saw back in the late 80s. I've heard some of Claire's other songs and had to listen. I loved it. And when I got to the part where she whispers, "Cosette, I love you very much," with her eyes closed and such sweet emotion, I got choked up and tears came to my eyes. She is so precious. Keeping singing little lady!

I have watched several other videos of children singing this song,including kids on stage and the child who plays Cosette in the movies. None of them even came close to showing the emotion that Claire does,and none of them has a voice as good as hers,and they are all older,around 8-12 years old. Claire is very special!

There's a song from Seussical the Musical called All For You. So, basically, Gertrude Mcfuzz has a huge crush on Horton the Elephant, and when he's captured by hunters and sold to the circus, Gertrude is determined to find him and save him. Vlad Vladicoff has dropped the clover with Who on it, and Horton was looking for it, when he was asked by Mayzie La Bird to sit on an egg. That's when he was captured. Anyways, Gertrude goes on and on and on and on about what she's been through for him. It would be so cute if Claire sang it!
