R.I.P. RALPHIE!!! I will never forget our childhood years in Pleasantville N.J.! We played together on the Little League team and "BOY", how Ralph was a beast on the trumpet in the jazz ensemble and the P.H.S. Band. GONE TOO SOON!!!
I have been following ralph peterson and his music for many years now.THE FOTET undoubtedly is one of the best groups out there.Im' glad to see ralph is continuing to produce this great music with i am sure a plethora of upcoming players.GREAT COMPOSITIONS and GREAT INTERPLAY=THE FOTET.Keep swinging!!!!
Ralph, oh my.....this is just phenomenal! I love the pocket that is ALWAYS there, the time so accurate, but you open it up and the music breathes like it's alive. There's wit and humor I hear in your playing that just reflects so much character, the drum part locks with the other players but is like a personality unto itself. I just love hearing this music!
fantastic to see the Fotet still keeps going. The original albums - back with Byron, Carrot and Slocum were just classic. Unfortunately Blue Note never really put their muscle behind that band. thanks for posting.

He's a jazz idol. No doubt about it. Let's praise to him.
