Making the guy believe Tsunade and everyone he knew and cared for just abandoned him really isn't a good look for her or his friends, even if she sent an inside agent to look after him, and even if it was to stop Mui from freeing Muku from the ironically named "Box of Paradise". The bittersweet ending with Mui, Muku and Ryuzetsu all dead certainly didn't help matters. It all looks good, and had good action, but had they just told him from the word go, or even had told him at some point _before_ the very end, Naruto wouldn't be in such a depressing position for the most of that movie.

That scene when hinata training in a waterfall at night while naruto mistaken her as water fairy is a peak naruhina moment at that time Also the one when naruto and shino was sent to help a feuding family and shino become a comedian (he is in boruto, but back then he was scary af so shino threatened naruto if he told anyone that he can be funny) Or that one noble lady who hired ino as her double because she's gaining weight, only to find out that the lady's suitor like her newer plus size appearance? Man those fillers are gold. Fillers are a good entertainment if your favourite side characters are rarely appear in the main story 😢
Fun fact (or sad depending on what you think) kishimoto wanted to focus on Naruto going on more missions but his editors would not let him and forced him to create all the extra characters and jump right into a tournament arc. Ironically the anime did what Kishimoto wanted to do and made filler stories about Naruto going on various missions.
Bruh, I remember watching this arc when I was eight back when naruto used to play on cartoon network. I saw the first episode of the arc where the guy was screaming as he was buried alive and immediately turned off my TV and went to bed. For the next few weeks, I would only watch the first few moments of each episode just to see if they were still on the same arc.
What stood out to me most in this arc was the scene where they cooked the turtle alive Needless to say my otaku mind which had previously been ecstatic about trying japanese cuisine , was put off a bit by the idea
I find is amusing how Neji, being a serious character, ends up always getting funny moments when he's with his team (especially Lee)
