- Inverter driven electric motors have a variety of sources of noise and vibration. They have high frequency noise coming from the inverter, order based noise and vibration coming from the motor, and additional noises from the gearbox and torque ripple. NVH engineers need to understand the sources of these noises, electrical or mechanical, to minimize and control the noise.
This video will be an introduction to the sources of noise and vibration and how to measure them.

Im actually pretty fond of motor sound when kept to a controlled level . That low to high pitch moise the motor makes is pretty nice
Perhaps you can quantify through demonstration of your product and show us results?
Is there anything that the consumer can do to further dampen high frequency EV noise? This bothers me immensely.
