Ingredients for Country Chicken Curry:
Country Chicken (Desi Chicken), skin-on, curry cut pieces- 1 kg
Ingredients:
- Onions, roughly chopped- 200 gms (2 large onions)
- Sunflower Oil- 4 tbsp
- Tomato Puree - 200 grm
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 100 grm
- Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
- Coriander Powder -2 tsp
- Garam Masala - 2 tsp
- Black Sesame seeds milk - 100 grm
- Water- 1 Ltr
- Ghee - 1 cup
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
For the Coconut Paste:
- Khus khus - 50 grm
- Roasted Gram
- Coriander Leaves
- Mint Leaves
- Fresh coconut, grated- 6 tbsp
Preparation:
- To make the paste, add the Khus khus , Roasted Gram, mint, Coriander Leaves along with the fresh grated coconut in a grinder/blender jar and coarse grind it.
- Roughly chop 2 big onions.
Process:
- Heat oil in a pan .
- Now add the roughly chopped onions and fry on medium heat for 7-8 mins till light brown.
Now add the Ginger garlic paste and fry on on medium heat fir 5 mins.
-add Turmeric Powder , Chilli powder and coriander powder and add salt
- Add the chicken, give a mix and fry
-add tomato puree and add water 1 Ltr and boil on medium heat for 30 mins
-add Black sesame milk .
-add the Khus khus , Roasted Gram, mint, Coriander Leaves along with the fresh grated coconut Paste
-finally add a cup of Ghee.
