The franchise is ripe for so many different approaches to both powers and protagonists. I can't fathom what it is that SuckerPunch sees - or I guess doesn't see - that they left it behind.
@@cathylickpriest7775 Well, that's an interesting thing, because it depends on how you look at it. I'm replaying it again, actually! It's one of my favorite works of art period, and I've been ranting to my friends about how heartbroken I am that there's only 1 game like it in existence. I guess there's a reason they call it lightning in a bottle...
Avalanche Studios could make a great Ghost Rider game. Their Vehicular combat in Mad Max was amazing and the fire effects are still amazing nearly a decade later
Infamous needs to be mentioned more. If the Super hero craze happened while that game was releasing, it would probably still come out today. In all seriousness. The gameplay was on par with their current Spiderman games… which is to say CRAZY GOOD
I personally didn’t want Insomniac to just be “The Marvel Studio”. I loved Spider-Man 2018 and enjoyed Spider-Man 2 but the writing wasn’t as good. I think that Sucker Punch could make a damn good Daredevil game.
Knowing Sucker Punch, they would probably prefer to make a more snappy and fun game. Whoever is running them now, they keep devs working on whatever is trending and now it's the "ancient medieval souls like with realism and serious atmosphere". You go back years ago, when they were working on Infamous or Sly Cooper, you could tell... they just wanted to have fun. If they were to make a Marvel game, I'd hope they'd get to do something out of the ordinary like a Thor game, a Doctor Strange game or an Iron Fist game (last one I'd say is the best for them). A character that really allows them to go crazy with superpowers while still focusing on core elements like combat.
This trend happens every time a studio makes a game that is successful and people liked. It happened with NetherRealm Studios with Injustice, Rocksteady with Arkham and Insomniac with Spider-Man. But I don't want one or two studios to be the sole ones developing games. Think that would do more harm than good.
even with other media, like when dreamworks did push in boots 2, suddenly it was the best animation studio ever and the new king over disney... then ruby gillman came out XD
In my opinion I feel like insomniac and rocksteady have given us great Spider-Man and Batman games that I just think its time other superheroes got a video game for once like the flash, green lantern and Superman, We got Asylum, City, Origins, Knight, VR, Shadow, even Gotham Knights since its also Batman, Marvel Spider-Man 1, Miles Morales and 2, honestly? I don't think it matters if rocksteady and insomniac dont make those games, just as long as there's some company out there regardless of who they are that's willing and brave enough to create games about these characters and make them good then that's all that matters to me
@@SpiderSora Marvel is doing their part, at least. Aside from SM 3 and Venom spin off, Insomniac is also working on Wolverine and potentially X-men down the line. Other studios are working on 1943 Rise of Hydra, Iron Man, Black Panther, etc. It's DC who is SEVERELY lacking, they only have Wonder Woman and Wolf Among Us 2. Like, come on now.
Well Marvel at least is currently doing very well and much better than Dc is doing at the moment at least when it comes to gaming, as they just realsed the Marvel vs Capcom fighting game collection with capcom and they also have a lot of upcoming huge AAA games in development right now like Marvel rivals, Marvel's Blade, Marvel 1943 rise of hydra, Black Panther and Iron Man from EA, Insomics Marvel games like Venom, Wolverine, Spiderman 3 Xmen etc.
Cursed thought: You know what would make for an on the nose Superhero game in this cursed era of MTX and Live Service hackery?.... ..... Booster Gold😅 "You have now payed for the deluxe package and can finally beat the game..." *Noob F2P players expecting the game to be good sceaming in the distance😅😂😂😂
Is not about who's brave enough is about having the rights to create super hero games you can't just create a super hero video game just because you feel like it
InFAMOUS definitely deserves a complete remake from the ground up. I still have it on my PS3 and playing here and there but it’s profoundly outdated and the animations are rough. Considering it’s Sucker Punch’s first open world game with a realistic look to it
@@DestinySpider That's the point of remakes, to bring fans back and newcomers to know these old games, so that studios will make sure if a new game is worth it.
@@radrno7 Yeah, but at the cost of one of these typical modern day 5 year dev cycles for something you've already played redone instead of those 5 years going towards something new you can enjoy. Also this kinda argument doesn't hold up to me when you look at how DMC5 is by far the best selling game of the series, meaning people who played it did so without having played what came before. If an inFamous 4 was good people would buy it whether they played 1,2, and Second Son or not. And then maybe afterwards return to play the older ones (ya know, if they're available)
@davionelliot I would love to see a new infamous game. Personally, I only played second son and first light, and I really liked it, and I really hope Sony can re-release the first two games.
Gamers do put too much emphasis on studios and they failed to realize that the good developers tend to leave after a major project is done, so it’s best to not be pigeon hold but publisher won’t see that.
Remedy could make a fantastic superhero game. Such an underrated dev team. Their games like control and Quantium break already have elements of powers in them, levitation, telekinesis, slowing down time etc …
4:25 I would also love for more gaming companies to start coming out with single player only games again I hate that almost everything that comes out is multiplayer pretty much first and foremost The last great single player only game that I played was probably the Star wars Jedi fallen order
You mean Ace Attorney?😅 Joking, but that would be a funny thing to see a crossover, imagine if we only got to beat down baddies between Mat's caseload and had to file briefs too, and the cases mattered for the ending/story, "open world" but relatively linear "time limit" that we get to ignore in NG+ to an extent.
Look up Sifu daredevil mod. That's the perfect foil for a daredevil game. It'd be cool if whoever made it partnered w/ Insomniac to connect their continuities since Daredevil had a few mentions in the Spider-Man games.
I remember how some decades ago people looked at beloved cartoons and movies and where like "I wish disney would own it, they would make it so much more awesome than it already is"... already hated that statement back then, as if these people never played monopoly before, well it happened, disney owning things and guess what, it turns to shit. Same with some netflix stuff
Honestly I think we need other developers to have a chance to make superhero games too because frankly having other developers get a chance give us great games for other characters besides insomniac and Rocksteady is a good thing in my opinion.
Because we let something like Guardians of The Galaxy fail, it’s unlikely. Doesn’t really inspire them to take more risks with certain characters/teams if something they tried failed.
It would definitely be an interesting studio to do a take on it. How good they are in doing the mindtripping effects and the combat, not to mention the potential for horror.
I see your point but insomniac isn’t the only developer being trusted with marvel properties, arcane Lyon is working on a blade game, motive studios are working on an iron man game, another ea studio are working on a black panther game, the director of uncharted with a new studio are making marvel 1942. Marvel has so many characters I think even when the developers get to choose which characters they would like to take on it’s a big undertaking
I want the devs that made streets of rage 4/tmnt to make a justice league beat em up. I don’t think superhero games need to be these gigantic open world games
I’m annoyed we haven’t had a Daredevil game. Always Nerdy made a really good vid on one that would be great as proof of concept. Also I don’t need my Super Hero games being wrapped around realistic graphics. I want my cell shaded games. My Ultimate Spider-man look for other games like Daredevil, Punisher, Ghost Rider, Venom, X men, etc. like X-men Legends was genius in its time. We need more innovation like this
I think its also important for us to remember to be greatful when they do succeed. When they put politics aside, focus on character development, quality, and most importantly passion. Celebrate when they succeed. Like the Arkham Games( Besides SS) and the spiderman games. I liked elden ring a lot and it was hard to let that go. That goes for movies and shows too.
A company out there should step up and make a fantastic Superman game already. The whole: “but Superman is too OP for a video game” comment doesn’t work anymore. I’m seeing multiple independent channels make superman demos and it looks beautiful. There are so many ways that it can work. I am sick of Batman games, he’s had enough
Spider-Man and Batman are always milked by Marvel and DC respectively. Marvel is at least trying to rectify themselves, making games like Wolverine, 1943 Rise of Hydra, Iron Man, Black Panther, etc. DC only has Wonder Woman. How Superman doesn't have a game still is beyond me. It's not some impossible thing to make, genuinely.
@@seregagerassimov4864 DC could also make a Green Arrow game pretty easily. I could also see an Aquaman game working pretty well. Would be new, and it has the possibility of really cool world building and graphics. Also a Superman game. So much potential. They can even nerf superman a little bit to make it work. Just keep the core values, and make a Damm good game. If I was in charge of DC, man they would make BILLIONS.
That “Too OP” comment definitely still works lol. I’ve seen cool demos for Superman-like style games. And for all of 10 minutes, they’re cool. So how would you keep a 15 hour game with an op character entertaining the whole time? He’ll have to start out really nerfed or something, and that wouldn’t be as fun. Nobody knows what to do to fill that time in.
@@NoirNameless No that comment still doesn’t work. Also obviously you can’t have the ridiculous overpowered comic version(with him moving planets. Which was just dumb). Same with Spiderman. Both have a ridiculous amount of strength in the comics. Also the first game should definitely follow the New 52 story. 22 year old Clark being very strong but he’s only able to jump. Then throughout the story we can upgrade Clark and in the middle of the storyline we can fly. Still thinking of ideas for a sequel but still there are many clever ways to handle a Superman game. Just saying “he’s too OP” is a lazy excuse. again with this next gen video game tech, Superman can definitely work.
I would like a single player "create your own hero and do stuff" game. MMORPG's somehow do it all the time but we have yet to have a single player. The character creation doesn't need to be too robust- hell, start with choosing one of the 5 power sets, make the game shorter but with branching paths and allow for multiple playthroughs. After that you could expand with more stuff with DLC or sequels if it works out. And if not, move on to something else, but at the very least try to experiment.
There was 'DC Online', but the problem with that type of game is that: it's too big so it requires a lot of time and money, the devs end up having to sacrifice a lot of stuff in favor of the customization system and the worst part... people don't buy it or they do and get tired of it. Granted, it could be sustained by an online multiplayer mode nowadays, for those that like having more experience or for influencers to make content on, but it's reaaaally hard to get that done and keep it up.
I hated Spider-Man 2, the story was so terrible that I’m not playing that game again or it’s sequels. Arkham is also dead. It’s really sad atm, there’s barely anything worth playing coming up unless the new developers doing stuff make good games.
For the Question of the episode; I'd love to see another punisher game, the one that came out for/with the Movie starring Thomas Jane was great, there have been a few after that missed the Mark. Give it a 3rd person over the shoulder, give it gore. And of course when you think 3rd person goes, probably think Gears of War. Think that studio could knock it out of the park. I was also a fan of the low budget Ghost Rider game that came out with the first movie, it was a God of War/DMC rip off, but it was a lot of fun, I'd say give it to the God of War team and turn it from a rip off into an actual IP.
Travelers tales are super underrated in the superhero games genre. They have made so many great games from star wars to marvel and DC and the character rosters are dense and full of deep cut characters. I think too many people brush off the company because these are lego games and they’re geared more towards kids, but this company has successfully made multiple iconic worlds and stories and levels and they’re always improving the gameplay. Guaranteed if these games weren’t made for lego they’d be taken more seriously.
The reason why people put so much love and pressure into these studios is, well... because the game industry is in shambles and crumbling more and more. Yeah, it's true. Look at what's going on with Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo. Either they're just overpricing the same games they've been working on for years, or they're just selling as much as they can of whatever they have, because the market is terrible nowadays. All everyone buys and plays are the same games, so whenever there's an event, ALL they announce are that, the basic product that could get them more money and keep them from bankrupcy, because triple A games are VERY expensive. When we see Insomniac or Sucker Punch, we see the studios from 20 years ago, the only ones going outside of that corporate box keeping it legit with good games that give what everyone wants and doesn't end up being just the same cashgrab others would do. Unfortunately... there's only so much honest studios like them can do, because at the end of the day, they have to get work done and bring the money, and that has become the downfall of these studios, they're running out of time. I hope Sucker Punch is still clear, it seems like 'Ghost of Yotei' had more than enough time to get properly finished, but I still feel bad for how hard Insomniac and Rocksteady fell.
Insomniac has done a good job however I would love other studios to give superhero games a go. Activision made spiderman games and half of them werent as good as its supposed to be. It would be great to see other heros in a game that isnt a street fighter or mortal kombat clone. Like a flash game, venom as an anti hero would be a fun game. Like there is so many heros and villains we can use to make a fun superhero game.
There needs to be passion & more original properties brought into the fray. There's always going to be licensed games, but that shouldn't stop contemporaries like Infamous & Prototype from existing. Why they aren't pushing for more games in the genre is a big mystery. Everyone & their cousin knows what makes a great superhero game, be it RPGs like Ultimate Alliance, or even MMOs like DCUO, there just aren't enough risk takers in the gaming industry.
I just want more good superhero games that aren’t Batman or Spider-Man. They get practically unlimited chances, and almost every you can do with them gameplay wise has been done already. There are so many more interesting characters that could bring a fresh and new experience to the table power wise when it comes to gameplay, along with their lore being explored in ways we haven’t seen like Superman, Iron Man, etc. I’m glad this has been addressed, as I always felt this argument was stupid. Just because Rocksteady made good Batman games, it doesn’t mean they would work for every other DC character, and the same can be said for Insomniac…especially with how easy it is to make games for them with how much they have already to make a decent foundation off of. It also limits the uniqueness of each game, as you would see the same design philosophy in some way, shape, or form that would start to homogenize each game despite being about wildly different characters.
Honestly I just stopped buying games because the consoles these days have the same hardware to play all the same games but sony rather make u pay a arm in a leg just to play there game I’m over paying just to play a game that’s just going to be a 12 hour experience now I’m out 700 for the consoles 60 for controllers and 90 for online than 70 for the game that’s literally 920 bucks just to play a game
Hear me out: another Superman game that expands on some of the mechanics in the EA Superman Returns videogame. There was some brilliant stuff in there, like how they handled health (superman's is infinitely replenishable but Metropolis' isn't), and his flying (constantly getting faster and faster) which I think are the toughest problems to tackle when dealing with Superman in a game context. Honestly, just how they handled their speed alone is what I think Flash's movement in a game should be, where the Flash keeps going faster and faster and the player has to time him changing direction or else he phases through and loses speed.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me that the bigger the studio or a developer gets, the less risks they take. Sure, graphics get ¨better¨ in technical terms I guess, but do newer games are more fun to play? for me that has not been the case for a while, but of course I'm glad for those that still enjoy new games.
I love the Infamous type games and the action/adventure stuff. But I think it could also be cool if we got to see more RPG studios take a shot at the super hero stuff. I always think Larian or old school Bioware style RPGs could be really cool with a Superhero theme.
Deserved way more attention. I've seen some of the reactions of people who worked on the game too to how overlooked it was and you could tell it broke a lot of hearts there.
PS2 had some great superhero games as someone ekse mentioned ultimate destruction, but also the punisher, and x men legends 1 and 2. We never get anything like that now ultimate alliance 3 is ok at best.
I dont think you could advertise a game by setting it on the same universe as an already loved game, because that requires a consistant quality output, otherwise you get a case like Rocksteady, they advertised suicide squad as part of the Arkhamverse and it was so bad it pretty much ruined the universe, so they cant really go back to it, even with a batman game
Monolith working on Wonder Woman gave me hope but sadly it seems it’s having issues. Also If a remake for infamous ever comes out I hope they update the amp fighting and the parkour.
We need Square Enix Montreal, who made the Guardians of the Galaxy game, to work on another superhero IP. The game was amazing and those developers deserve another chance with a bigger franchise
One thing I’ve noticed: is that developers who have experience making platformer games like Sucker Punch (Sly Cooper) and Insomniac (Ratchet & Clank) have gone on to make some of the best superhero games. Infamous and Spiderman respectively here. I don’t have a specific game in mind, but when I was watching my wife play Crash Bandicoot 4 I kept thinking “wow I’d love to see them make a superhero game!” Platformer games understand that movement needs to be fun in these kinds of games. It translates really well to superhero games. Okay I have one suggestion, but it would NEVER happen: Nintendo making Green Lantern 😅
15:51 I think that’s a bit of a problem to because what if a studio doesn’t care about what world building elements that was establish and want to do there own thing like what happen to the transformers aligned continuity .
It's not the companies behind the game, it's the people and the passion behind the game, But we should never, ever, worship people nor companies, because one or the other, or both, can let us down. We can both be excited and skeptic of who is publishing and making the game(s). And we must always try to have an open mind when seeing a game fail or succeed. That's my two cents.
It’s funny that you mentioned how they could’ve had other games take place in the Insomniac universe by collaborating with publishers because I actually consider the Guardians of the Galaxy game takes place in Insomniac, lol.
Imagine if the rock star devs who developed max Payne 3 made a punisher game. Keep the bullet time and flashiness. Add stealth, hand to hand Combat, semi open world. Keep it single player but add multiplayer where you and your buddy play as frank castle and take out drug lords and gangsters
The last X-Men game (not counting Deadpool) was X-Men Destiny, and that came out in 2012, it was so poorly made that the game was pretty much *erased* from the market. You have more of a chance finding a Beenox Spider-Man game than X Destiny... Heck, the last inFAMOUS game felt more like an X-Men fan fic game. Which is why Second Son doesn't really feel like an inFAMOUS game to me.
Nothing like the infamous title peak story-telling, peak gameplay, suckerpunch blessed the world when they made the infamous games. Wish they didn’t hang it up.
So in terms of a Flash game, Suckerpunch wouldn’t be a bad choice. It wouldn’t PERCECTLY capture his speed, but picture this: the physics of neon dash from Infamous: Second Son, but with the speed of the running ability from Saints Row IV. Just so The Flash doesn’t have cars and street lamps whirling around him as he runs.
Well to be honest if depend on the game company make them for decide on more content on those superheroes games being added in it but i do hope for upcoming games to be done right and fun and enjoyment at the end of the day that what we want there
Team Ninja should totally make a TMNT video game. I recently started playing Rise of the Ronin, and I think they would do a great job with the Turtles.
Another problem I've noticed is that people also want the same mechanics in every game. The amount of times I've seen people say they want a Daredevil game or Moon Knight game with Arkham combat and stealth is so annoying. First of all I'm gonna very briefly get on my soapbox for a second, Arkham combat is highly overrated. It's fun for sure, but there's absolutely nothing beyond the surface level style. Anyway, and there are so many different kinds of stealth systems that exist that developers can take inspiration from. I'd much rather take a Daredevil or Moon Knight game with unique systems and mechanics that make it standout in the genre than just Arkham reskins
Sucker Punch - TMNT, Blade - Platinum Games, Ghost Rider - Bend Studio, Captain America / Black Panther/ Daredevil/ Moon Knight- United Front Games if they were still around, Dr Strange - Ascendant Studios, The Punisher - Visceral Games (Defunct),
I think people exaggerate too much when talking about spider-man 2 and the split between those who liked it and those who didn't. The people that disliked the game are a loud minority not majority or even close to being evenly split. Just as an example, the remaster of the first game has a 4.70/5 star rating on playstation. Now the supposedly very divisive spider-man 2 has a 4.83/5 star rating. Very odd how that works based on how people portray the game online. Honestly, spider-man 2 is better in almost every way when comparing it to the first game. The only stuff I'd give the first is a better story, main villain and gadgets due to more options and that's it. Everything else is simply better or just as good in the second game.
I never played infamous until a few weeks ago, and im so happy i did. It was so fun and i finished 1 and 2 back to back. I really enjoy original super hero projects but i think sucker punch could pull off a solid daredevil or green arrow game. Id also like to see a fantastic four game cuz i really like The Thing as a character.
Deep Silver Volition - Saints Row IV was highly overlooked and the powers/abilities showcased in that game. I’ve always wished they had made a “FLASH” or “SUPERMAN” game, such a missed opportunity.
2:00 I like when companies branch out and try something different gaming companies I mean like if they didn't branch out from what they're known for and try something different we wouldn't have such iconic games like look at naughty dog we went from a platformer-esque game with crash bandicoot to a narrative driven game like uncharted where it's essentially a giant interactive movie and then the same thing with the last of us if a gaming company wants to branch out and experiment with new genres I think they should be allowed let them cook cuz you never know what you'll get
I think if ATLUS made an RPG version of the Marvel or DC universe it would be oozing with style. They could even do a Batman Family storyline or a X-men story.
You have to think that Spider-Man is the poster child of marvel, has been for years, when he's done well, some part of me wonders if we immediately put the responsibility on them for all of it. Much like stan did for peter back in the day. History repeats itself after all.
I think Bend Studio should be given a comic character that’s not super known and let them roll with it and see if it sticks. Same vain as the Peacemaker show maybe.
Companies don’t want to focus on making other heroes games because they’re too risky. The good ones that do release, we don’t play. There’s no reason the Guardians game should’ve failed, but it did, and it didn’t deserve that. I also think it’s because the budget for games have skyrocketed, so spending $200 mill (which they don’t have to do, but will anyway, cause, the gaming industry) is a huge risk. I’ve been saying for years I’d love more smaller Street level linear (or semi lines) superhero games. Punisher in the same vein as Max Payne 3 would slap so hard. I’d love a Green Arrow game, maybe even a good Teen Titans one. Ones that wouldn’t cost a ton to make and that would do well if done well.
Buddy you realize spiderman out sold sunset overdrive by a landslide right? Spiderman 2 is the fastest selling PlayStation game in history. Sunset overdrive sold 1.9 million units spiderman sold 50 MILLION are ya dumb? The reviews also did better than sunset, less than a min in and I’m shocked
Hard agree, if they had more time Spider-Man 2 could've been everything so many of us hoped for. Though there's this idea that fans are too needy for demanding DLC and we need to go easy on this multi million dollar developer that I don't like, especially when the game costs full price and delivers what felt like less content than its predeccesor.
Naughty dog making a metal gear or splinter cell esque cinematic stealth action game would be great especially since they could build off of the stealth encounters and enemy Ai of TLOU 2
Marvel needs to be more open to Japanese devs than just capcom and even then they need to give Capcom more opportunities than just another MvC game. Like a third person shooter Punisher game in the RE engine would be interesting to see. Or even something more smaller scaled like a side scrolled power pack game. I would have liked to see platinum games tackle a X-force game. They need to be more open with devs in general too like give ID software Ghost Rider lmao just go crazy. I miss when we used to get multiple marvel games in a year sometimes. Like back in 2005 we got X-Men Legends 2, Hulk Ultimate Destruction, The Punisher, Fantastic Four, AND ultimate Spider-Man in one goddamn year.
Well look at spiderman 2, miles story felt like forced diversity alot of the time an cant help but think if had been given the proper attention that wouldnt have happend and miles story would have felt alot better
If The Pokémon Company/Gamereak really want to make a real open world game, then they should get a company like Insomniac to help out. I get Insomniac is pretty much a Sony company, but TPC/Gamefreak desperately need help
Honestly I think that FromSoftware the group behind Bloodborne and Elden Ring could do great work on a wolverine game. His healing factor fits well with their usual game type.

I personally didn’t want Insomniac to just be “The Marvel Studio”. I loved Spider-Man 2018 and enjoyed Spider-Man 2 but the writing wasn’t as good. I think that Sucker Punch could make a damn good Daredevil game.
Or Punisher.
so more Marvel not less?
@@kluneberg8952 I don’t want Insomniac to be the sole Marvel developer.
Empire City kinda screamed hell's kitchen to me so yeah I'd be down for sucker punch daredevil, but more inspired from the comics than the TV show
This trend happens every time a studio makes a game that is successful and people liked.
@@toongrowner1 You’re very correct, folks get do caught up in the moment.
@@seregagerassimov4864 Agreed with this 100%.
Cursed thought:
You know what would make for an on the nose Superhero game in this cursed era of MTX and Live Service hackery?....
..... Booster Gold😅
"You have now payed for the deluxe package and can finally beat the game..."
*Noob F2P players expecting the game to be good sceaming in the distance😅😂😂😂
Is not about who's brave enough is about having the rights to create super hero games you can't just create a super hero video game just because you feel like it
InFAMOUS definitely deserves a complete remake from the ground up. I still have it on my PS3 and playing here and there but it’s profoundly outdated and the animations are rough. Considering it’s Sucker Punch’s first open world game with a realistic look to it
Agreed. The second game holds up alright to this day imo. It's the first one that's too rough now.
nah just let them make a fuckin inFamous 4. remaking the first would be a waste of time
@@DestinySpider
That's the point of remakes, to bring fans back and newcomers to know these old games, so that studios will make sure if a new game is worth it.
We could help Platinum games make a ghost rider game by pitching them ideas or concepts that we know about the characters
Gamers do put too much emphasis on studios and they failed to realize that the good developers tend to leave after a major project is done, so it’s best to not be pigeon hold but publisher won’t see that.
Bro did not lie
Remedy could make a fantastic superhero game. Such an underrated dev team. Their games like control and Quantium break already have elements of powers in them, levitation, telekinesis, slowing down time etc …
4:25 I would also love for more gaming companies to start coming out with single player only games again I hate that almost everything that comes out is multiplayer pretty much first and foremost The last great single player only game that I played was probably the Star wars Jedi fallen order
Play Stellar Blade
I just want an open world Daredevil game, I don't really care who develops it
I feel ya
You mean Ace Attorney?😅
Joking, but that would be a funny thing to see a crossover, imagine if we only got to beat down baddies between Mat's caseload and had to file briefs too, and the cases mattered for the ending/story, "open world" but relatively linear "time limit" that we get to ignore in NG+ to an extent.
"I don't really care who develops it"
Even Ubisoft? My guy you wild.
Look up Sifu daredevil mod. That's the perfect foil for a daredevil game. It'd be cool if whoever made it partnered w/ Insomniac to connect their continuities since Daredevil had a few mentions in the Spider-Man games.
I'd definitely care who makes it. Whoever is under the claws of Sony or Microsoft could not be fit for the job, and it's NOT easy.
@@NoirNameless which isn’t fair because guardians of the galaxy game was really good
@@TevyaSmolkaGotG game was not bad, however it's far from being a great game. It's a ok game.
rockstar would CRUSH a punisher game bro
Yeah, but I think they only focus on their big titles nowadays, so we'll probably never get a brand new game for a long time.
Remedy should do a Doctor Strange game
Ya, I agree 👍
We need more innovation like this
I don’t like how Insomniac has to make Spiderman and Marvel games. They have their own IPs they can work on in between
I want more games that explore supervillains like infamous did in a karma system or a games like prototype where you’re meant to be bad.
But Alex isn't "Bad" he actually saved the city, you are in rampage but aren't a villain
@@moycorbin4750 Unless e go into prototype 2 where I believe he was evil.
@@aerostrafe1075 oh yes but You can't play as him
I think its also important for us to remember to be greatful when they do succeed.
They’ve been making Batman games since the 80s, they’re never going to stop.
Amen brother! 🫡
Naughty Dog was my choice for Wolverine
I hated Spider-Man 2, the story was so terrible that I’m not playing that game again or it’s sequels. Arkham is also dead. It’s really sad atm, there’s barely anything worth playing coming up unless the new developers doing stuff make good games.
I'd like the see Travelers Tales make a superhero game.
Ok so I just want Lego Batman 4.
A lot of us do
For the Question of the episode;
I'd love to see another punisher game, the one that came out for/with the Movie starring Thomas Jane was great, there have been a few after that missed the Mark.
I remember that people liked the Sonic Lego Level in Dimensions
I’d say give Sucker Punch a shot at a Batman exclusive game. After Ghost of Tsushima I have more faith in them than Rocksteady.
I want them to remaster the first 2 infamous games 😢
The original devs that made ghost of Tsushima left sucker punch a lot of them
Why they would since they belong to Sony?
@@moycorbin4750 Because there’s a rumor about a Batman game being an exclusive so I’d rather give it to sucker punch.
Tbf, we do have the Wonder Woman and Blade games coming from different studios.
man I miss infamous
I would love for valve to make a superhero game. Okay I would love for them to do a game in general at this point.
At first when marvel avengers was announced I was hoping it to have a shared universe with insomniacs to finally have some sort of gaming universe
I’ve been playing infamous 1 and second son And it’s so much fun still
I just want more good superhero games that aren’t Batman or Spider-Man.
BioWare could make an Ironman game their flight mechanics looked good on Anthem
Insomniacs spider man 2 was a good reason for them to not make super hero games
How when it’s their highest rated game and their best game?
This comment really has nothing to do with the video but Saints row 4 is an amazing superhero game. It's the flash game we never got
The Infamous games need to return
I would like a prequel or another sequel to Infamous.
I never would have expected WBGM to make Arkham Origins as good as it is either.
Konami and the developers of the football manager games would be a dream game
I’m really hoping that the Wonder Woman game will be good.
Sunset overdrive is a fucking masterpiece
I wish we could get the teams that worked on Xmen legends and Origins Wolverine to make some more X-men games. Just please not under Activision
15:51 I think that’s a bit of a problem to because what if a studio doesn’t care about what world building elements that was establish and want to do there own thing like what happen to the transformers aligned continuity .
It's not the companies behind the game, it's the people and the passion behind the game,
But we should never, ever, worship people nor companies, because one or the other, or both, can let us down.
Rockstar games or any company that made a really good souls-like game
Mappa has the same problem in anime. Everyone wants every adaptation to be animated by them which is literally impossible
Well to be honest if depend on the game company make them for decide on more content on those superheroes games being added in it but i do hope for upcoming games to be done right and fun and enjoyment at the end of the day that what we want there
We need an infamous game for the ps5 🙏🏾
2:00 I like when companies branch out and try something different gaming companies I mean like if they didn't branch out from what they're known for and try something different we wouldn't have such iconic games like look at naughty dog we went from a platformer-esque game with crash bandicoot to a narrative driven game like uncharted where it's essentially a giant interactive movie and then the same thing with the last of us if a gaming company wants to branch out and experiment with new genres I think they should be allowed let them cook cuz you never know what you'll get
The people who made a way out and it takes two I think would make an amazing Cloak and Dagger game
I think if ATLUS made an RPG version of the Marvel or DC universe it would be oozing with style. They could even do a Batman Family storyline or a X-men story.
people don’t really want that, at least not anymore. Even before Spider-Man 2 people started agreeing it’s not a good idea.
Honestly any one of the Sony first-party studios could make a great superhero game imo.
Anyone who says they can't do a flash game hasn't played either sonic unleashed or saints row 4
It failed due to shit Marketing it was a great game though.
Sony Santa Monica could make a banger superhero game
Like bro I just wanna play spiderman don't put that gay shit in there😭🙏
Hard agree, if they had more time Spider-Man 2 could've been everything so many of us hoped for.
I would kill for a new Infamous or similar games to it!
Superhero games should stick closely to the comics and not non-canon movie adaptions.
