GP100 is a really good small unit, picked one up off eBay in UK opened never used for £50 a bargain price!! Really well made metal housing, I got really for modulation fx Univibe, phaser, vibrato, chorus as can’t be arsed buying individual pedals so much anymore, using this cuts back on signal loss and dicky lead issues between pedals now. The delays snd reverbs are also nice so using them a fair bit, looper nice to have, drum machine useful for people practicing or who may not have a DAW setup. IR loading great for those who want it, expression pedal and the App to use on Mac or PC is intuitive and simple to use. For the £50 I spent well happy with the overall tones from it as has cut down on buying so many individual pedals, space and carrying it all about. Made life a lot easier for me at least, I know this won’t suit everyone’s needs and ideal setup but for myself who doesn’t play so many gigs anymore it work perfectly.
does anyone know where i can find .prst files for my favorite songs or bands? i dont have the ears to get the tone myself and im new to this so i cant figure it out, it would be great if there was a list of songs or artists with their albumns effects somewhere that i could download and import to the valeton software
Great sounding! & I'm guessing this is the older software & firmware on this unit. I'd like to see if there is any sound difference after the firmware 1.5 update.
Thanks, if I recall properly...most or all of the screen shots were made on older software/firmware but in the process of making the video, I upgraded to 1.5 and all the sound samples are on 1.5.
@@david.obregon I downloaded and updated my GP-100 tonight. According to the documentation this is what's new in version 1.6. Changes & Bug Fixes in Version 1.6 (Released 7/27/2021) 1. GP-100VT support added 2. Other minor bug fixes So it doesn't appear there are any improvements in sound or new sounds.
Sorry for the delay in answering your question. I hadn't really tried the pitch shifting, so I wanted to give it a whirl before answering. After playing with it some this evening I would say it is very good, it tracks very well. You also have the following controls: High-Pitch, High-Vol, Low-Pitch, Low-Vol & Dry, which makes it fairly tweakable. It seems to the Pitch Shift falls first in the effects chain but I think it sounds better if you move it after the amp, Luckily you can shift the orders of the pedals.
Obviously, you can use any of the effects on the bass but as far as effects that are called out as being for the bass guitar: Amps=5, Cabinets=5, Wah=2, Distortions=2 and Modulation=1
@@Tone-Quest what I meant was the unit is does it only have 2 bass patches or are there more? Been subscribed a long time.. great content on your channel.
@@robertyoung7027 Gotcha, out of the box it has 19 Bass patches. Definitely a strong feature of this pedal, that it can be used with acoustic and electric guitars and bass. Excellent tool for writing and recording. A long time subscriber, oh how cool. Thanks for subscribing to my little corner of UA-cam. It is fun to share the little knowledge I have of music and/or musical gear.
@@Tone-Quest hello , i'am a bassist , i'have got a Zoom b3 , and i'am loocking after this valeton , good patchs for bass ? like chorus , delay ? no overdrive or disto for me ... thanks

Great feedback, much appreciated!
As a matter of fact, I was just playing mine as you posted this. 👍🏻
Great job! Thank you!!

Thanks you for your video! Looking at your video catalogue it's exactly matches my interests. Subscribed. Grüße und danke!
So happy to hear that. 👍🏻
Anyone know where the Cosmic Cowboy custom patch by Ari is posted?
Awesome pedal that can be had for 80 Bucks in ebay!
Do you know the difference between the GP 100 vs GP 100VT?
As far as I know, just the color on the outside of the unit is different.
what will happen with sound if you will use Pathch BPM on 0 [zero]?
Have a patch like David Gilmour tone?
Great sounding!

@@Tone-Quest Hi Chris! Have you upgraded to 1.6 update? There's any sound difference? Thanks for this awesome sound demo.
@@david.obregon No, I didn’t know it was out. Guess I have some homework to do this week. 😎 Thanks for the heads up, I’ll check it out ASAP.
@@Tone-Quest Haha all right! If the difference is big it would be great watching a new demo. There’s nothing about that new firmware on UA-cam.

Is the Pitch Shift effect any good on this unit?

Hi, how many bass efects does it have? I want to buy, but I only play bass

@@Tone-Quest thanks, its useful for me
Is this useable and fully tweakable without the computer app.
I believe so, the computer app just makes it easier and faster to tweak a patch.
@@Tone-Quest Good to know thanks!
This is valeton direct to laptop or soundcard first?
Direct to the laptop
That's just great.
I always wanted direct to pc without another layer.
Please give me the Valeton GP100 you are using thank you very much
Sorry, I sold it a little while back.
Only 2 bass patches!?
In my video? Yes
