At 73 I am grateful I still have my hearing and can appreciate the great music from my era. No present music can compete with the masters and groups from yesteryear!
This video was shot in Beirut, Lebanon in 1996 just after the civil war had ended. That's the year when I first seen the Scorpions live in Beirut. Great memories and definitely one of the best Scorpions songs to me!

Unfortunately, humans haven't learned any lessons for many thousands of years now that war doesn't bring peace.
I was at that concert and remember when this video came out and all the hype of it being shot in Beirut. I was working at TGI Friday’s on Raouche. Great memories!

@God Love Scorpions should have been placed (inducted) into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame a very long time ago...
A band's nationality should have nothing to do with their selection for the Hall of Fame. So many other acts that never should have been selected for the Rock & Roll hall of fame have been inducted in the name of political correctness and diversity, and private pressure. It's become a complete and utter farce. That the Scorpions haven't been inducted, is a travesty of justice and poor taste.
I live in Cleveland, OH, 20 minutes from the Rockhall, and they disgust me!! Too much politics and they take forever to induct the real rock bands. Garbage that isn't rock gets in quicker😝
Because only the most famous & longest serving Hard Rock artists in the world, like Scorpions, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden etc... don't want to be in the RNR Hall Of Shame.

Не могу поверить что моим любимым скорпионам уже по 70 лет.... Как же сильно я их люблю♥️😓 и как же страшно понимать, что когда-то их не будет, и что уйдёт этот луч, который так сильно радовал нас, настоящих фанатов их творчества и фанатов настоящей рок музыки... Вся эта музыка-это целая эпоха. Золотая эпоха. И по моему мнению, золотой она была из-за Скорпионов.
Так приятно видеть их такими молодыми на клипах, такими жизнерадостными и веселыми, полными энтузиазма. Приятно слышать невероятный голос Клауса и супер крутые гитарные партии Маттиаса и Рудольфа... Чертовски приятно видеть их старые клипы, где вокруг них создаётся такой вайб, где они являются центром всего и вся.
И как же больно отчего-то видеть их сейчас, когда вокруг совсем не то, что было в их молодости, в то светлое и солнечное время и то, что есть сейчас, вся эта музыка, все эти современные ценности. Грустно Когда видишь уже не тех ребят, которые прыгали по сцене и рвали все рекорды своими хитами. Хотя даже сейчас они готовы дать фору любому, но все же...
Они огромные молодцы, что даже во время популярности такой безвкусной музыки они все равно стараются радовать нас своими концертами и новыми видео на их канале. для меня их музыка будет вечной, это точно. Я ЛЮБЛЮ ВАС, МОИ САМЫЕ ЛУЧШИЕ СКОРПИОНЫ!!

karaoke. Is a story about before the "black out "album.klaus had nodes on his vocal cords,needed surgery to remove them.the future was bleak.but he did give up.the song"black out"is about that ordeal.
