I play both herbivores and carnivores, in the case of cs I main dire wolf, but then also play as a kele, bull elk, and quagga. The mix of characters is fun for gameplay.
@@viticabo1524 that isn’t what I find the best thing about the updated scent mechanic, I think the best part of it is being able to see if a horse is either healthy or unhealthy and tracking a single horse/animal
I’m really happy that spook mode seems to force all herbivores within a certain vicinity to run, in most animal games the herbivores just destroy the carnivore(s) that is hunting them with no problems because of how easy it is to dog pile them, in this game it seems like it keeps herbivores on their toes also without taking away their ability to defend themselves while carnivores are rewarded if they are skilled enough to complete a successful ambush especially since it seems like carnivores are no longer transparent whenever they crouch in foliage, it seems fair for both sides and I really like that.
@@nojorooney then they scream about wolves kosing in the chat when they kill ONE elk and stay in the bubble. i sometimes think half of the elk players arent fully conscious considering how many try to attack wolves when theyre in a bubble

This game looks so awesome I can’t wait for release. So far from watching these types of videos it’s giving me prior extinction type vibes but I have a feeling it’s definitely gonna be more realistic
I know they wont work on it currently, but I hope down the line we do get nesting, birth only skins, gameplay, and more realism would be fantastic Imagine going into spook mode as a wolf chomps down on your foal, truely harrowing stuff
The devs are for some reason really anti offspring, which is disappointing. Offspring is such a huge part of survival in the wild, and it also helps encourage players to be more realistic. I have a feeling that without offspring, ecos la brea will not last as long as it should. As it deserves to.
@@Pancake_Dragons extremely experienced and large Grey wolves have been seen taking down young adult bison by themselves and dire wolves were 25% bigger on average, (I do not think a single dire wolf or even a pair of wolves should be able to reliably take down even a cow though unless you are insanely skilled at the dire wolf) I think it should be pretty balanced because a pack of aenocyon would have an easier time chasing after the bison to catch it but a smilodon pack would have an easier time taking it down once they have it.
Hi, I hope they listen to the players and don't just focus on money, if they listen to players with updating ideas that would be incredible! I have so many ideas

I like playing carnivores because they are very elegant and are you must be skilled.
I usually like the peaceful life of a herbivore, but I do enjoy the thrill of being a carnivore.

Herbivores, most of the time their either small and nimble or big and powerful
I like that you can now run while tracking and as a whole, the whole scent mechanic is so improved and you won't starve that easily.

fr such a pain when that one "realism" herd in cs goes full force towards one wolf and chases it down like a feral beast

idk about the predators transparent thing tho since i dont think that someone with a fully dark skin will be able to camouflage in anyway
