awesome vid sis!! I know exactly what you are talking about! My father has had his chest cracked open 5 times(heart patient), and you are correct-the communication is horrible!! I am VERY vocal with nurses, and doctors alike, by asking questions. I am so glad you recorded the previous video to show the lack in this area. I/we are a participant in our health...and it is truly devastating to see what could happen to those who are not competent, and unable to speak for themselves. Love you!
I GOT IT simply b/c I work in the health industry AND my has been blown by the lack of compassion of the medical staff. Yes, most are overloaded with patients sometimes with a 6:1 ratio with NO support BUT this does not account for the lack of passion of doing your job! The advice you gave was ON POINT!

I agree with you Kianna about compassion. That is also the reason Big people do not go to the doctor as much as well because some nurses and doctor have not walked into their calling. I believe in this field have to be compassionate and caring. I am praying for you as you embark on this new phase of your life! You lift us all up in your inspiration!!
hey mellissa.. ty so much.. im home now.. and i feel much better. i only stayed there for 3 days infact.. i actuually can walk well now and i have very little pain.. still some numbness in the legs but we have some treatments in place that are working thank god.. anyway ty for caring sis an again, welcome to the family

My mom started off at 18 working in convalescent care, & Now she is a RN , my mom Has that Compassion for others & Dedication , I am not saying this cause she is my Mom, but it was her Calling , I notice in Nursing, Teaching etc the Deication & compassion is GONE !!! all SOME folks worry about is Money and that's so sad.. Exactly. Sis me and hubby talk about this all the time. Once you go into a field of that sort, that person's life is in your care and you have to have a desire and love to work with people and care about their well being. I know in the town where I live just about everyone is In nursing like it's a fad more so just to get a good paycheck cause they act that way out here.
I agree, taking the worst of times and making the best of time, when we got good times reflect on when it it wasnt such a good time in our lives. Bust your butt in rehab !
Kianna you are oh so right when stating that nursing is calling. I have a friend who truly went into nursing to help the sick, but sadly she has to leave because of daily battles with lazy co-workers. They hide an ignore the patient call lights while waiting for her to answer for their pateints as well as her own. Everybody wants a pay check yet no one wants to work?smh!!!! Keep strong Kianna Not one of us know what issues we will have to deal with tomorrow. Keep Vloging !!!!
Yes sister so true even though doctor told me its time to come out the field due to my health my heart won't let me even though I am on leave do to health I still check on my patients that are still there making sure they being treated right and sending them message that I thinking of them even went to one of there funeral sense I been out so it is a calling I was call into it unaware it was my calling thanks sis for the video and get better still praying for you
I can not and will not tolerate a nurse or doctor with a nasty disposition because I feel like that affects my/family members care-I ask questions when it comes to medical things, especially when it comes to my babies and hubby and if that is a problem then we have a problem-it is soooo important people to know what is going on with our care- it is your right

I understand coming from a family of RN's..the profession have changed many nurses are not from rhis country many are travel nurses not employed by the hoisptal but outside companys.My neice is a physical occupational nurse she said you will be help to get you back to the best physical health.Take care and be well soon.

I know exactly what you mean. This year my mom passed away from kidney disease. Prior to her passing, I would go with her to dialysis 3 days per week. One time a fellow patient passed out because her blood pressure fell too low. The dialysis tech didn't even know because they were too busy playing around on the internet while on the job instead of watching the patients. So many times I was happy to be able to be there for my mom and advocate for her. So many elderly or sick people are unable.

Last year I was pregnant with my daughter and they used to take my blood pressure for routine but never told me it was slightly high until I asked because they would say nothing, they just write it down my blood pressure had been like that for a while I didn't even know it;((
You have no reason to worry. You are covered by the blood of Jesus Christ and have too much to do. Remember God WILL give you double for your trouble! For God doesn't give you the spirit of fear but the spirit of power, love, and self-discipline. 2 Tim 1:7. Stay strong my sister !
