Chevrolet Captiva 2008-2012 Air bag light ON

DTC Descriptor: B0022 0D Passenger Seat Belt Retractor Pretensioner Deployment Loop Resistance Above.
Conditions for Setting the DTC: The passenger seat belt retractor pretensioner deployment loop resistance is more than 3.54 Ω.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets: The SDM commands the AIR BAG indicator ON via serial data communications.
•The SIR System is disabled and no deployments are allowed.

Hi all if this doesn't work.... look under the seat belt buckle on driver's side. There is a black plug or connector that connects straight into the pretentioner. I tried what this video suggested and no luck. Then took wd40 and sprayed the connecter under seat belt buckle. Worked like a charm!

Thanks! Just disconnecting and connecting the yellow connector on the passenger and driver sides worked for me. No dielectric used!!!

My airbag light comes on when it rains mostly on motorway I was thinking maybe a censor is getting wet.

Pls can you tell me does this action turn off airbag system wholely? Because dielectric doesn't transfer electricity as I know

yes, because dielectical remove high resistance from the connector and back to normal which is 2.4 ohms
