Honestly, it wasn't really about fighters being afraid of Mike Tyson, it was Mike was one of the most technically elite, skilled, fastest, accurate boxers ever with insane one punch ko power in both hands....that was very difficult to hit and defend. Due to his height and size, most HW's could not hit with their jab and crosses to keep him off them, and opened them up to get hit with combos. You couldn't come forward really because tyson was so quick that he'd be off your center line unloading a combo moving his feet and head. You could not choose to not throw because tyson would throw combos from the mid range until you crumbled. Holyfield had elite boxing, fast hands, foot work, and power so he could land on tyson coming in and come forward. Holyfield had a great chin and defense so he could take tyson's shots. Holyfield wasn't tall so peek a boo doesn't work well against him.
alot of fighters were scared though. Just ask Michael Spinks 🤣
@@spenser6353 they were but the issue was they couldn’t hit him while they ate a buffet of insanely fast accurate precision painful full power punches in bunches that landed flush to their body and head that they couldn’t see while not landing shit on Tyson.
They were scared of Tyson because not only does that shit hurt real bad and it’s humiliating to get your ass whooped in front of a crowd, but they didn’t want to loose. Boxing is a sport for up and comers, where loosing can fuck up your career and set you back many fights and a few years or completely end the possibility of you getting money or title fight. Most boxers make shit or nothing money wise from fights and are poor. Unless you already are a champion, had a few title fights, held the belt, have like a 25-0 record with wins over top ten in the division…a lose in an early round in which you look like a complete bum by comparison and you get brutally destroyed via ko/tko….can completely end your career track. No promoter will pay you after that, they’ll be shock to hear that you are alive.

I hope that Mike also trains himself in real sparring. One is to move beautifully and hit the gloves hard, the other is not to forget about defense. Jake moves quickly back and forth and, most dangerously, has a lightning-fast, unexpected and far-reaching knockout punch. Mike must not underestimate his opponent. Just because he's a UA-camr and looks cute doesn't mean anything. Only physical parameters should be evaluated. The biggest danger for Mike is probably the physical parameters of his opponent's jung organism's strength and energy

If Jake Paul could not knock out Nate Diaz how could he possibly knock out Mike Tyson ? My guess is that Mike Tyson will either knock out Jake Paul or they will have set it up for Mike Tyson to win on points. But let's be real. Jake Paul could not knock out Tommy Fury or Nate Diaz so how could he have any chance whatsoever to knockout Tyson let alone hit him squarely ? I just don't see it. Plus Jake Paul is going to be fighting at 230 lbs which has got to slow him down from his usual fighting weight. And I do not think that Tyson will be worn out in only eight rounds.
