I was definitely thinking the onion, as that’s the common flavor here in the south (Tennessee) where I live. Although: I’m not a big fan of a lot of onion, so this way that they made would be good to me.
Add a pinch of nutmeg or mace in the "donut holes", as that's the spice used in real donuts. Minced chives in the hush puppies would give them an little onion flavor like real hush puppies have, and maybe a drop of sweet corn flavor.
So seriously, the Dash 4 Mini Waffle maker was a total game changer for me. I almost threw out the recipe because it stuck EVERY time in my old waffle maker. But then on the advice of Emily and Sarah, I bought the Dash 4 Mini Waffle maker, and it NEVER sticks. So totally worth every penny I spent for it! Thanks Keto Twins!
Definitely going to make these. Just had a thought of possibly using the Chaffle recipe as a coating for chicken. I usually use crushed pork rinds but I might experiment using a Chaffle coating and fry.🎉
I have a Dash waffle maker too. I've never had a problem getting waffles out. I love your chaffle recipe. I've made it with all sorts of hard cheeses and seasonings. Everyone loves them. Although, I don't cook mine as long as you do. So, they're not as dark. We actually have them to snack on. They're so good. However, to use as a bun, you do need to cook them as long as you do for the ultimate crispness.
I have always added seasonings to my chaffles. Cinnamon, nutmeg, and sweetener make them a nice dessert chaffle, or I spread chunky peanut or almond butter on them to have with tea or coffee.
I love these hush puppies, thanks for sharing I will definitely make these. I will definitely make the pizza balls and try the little mini doughnut balls too. You guys are the best.
For the doughnuts, I think I’d try using the whole egg with a little sweetener to the “batter” then do the shake in the cinnamon and sugar 🌹, Thanks girls, I’m loving all your Keto Kooking 👍🏼👍🏼
I picked up a mini waffle maker at a garage sake for free. Brought it home and tested it and yay it works. 🙂 I have never been a fan of the cheesy chaffle but I am gonna try it again. Wish me luck 🤞
I wonder if your chaffle recipe could be used to make dumplings? I made some chicken soup a couple of weeks ago and thought about my mom's chicken and dumplings. You just float little balls of dough in the boiling soup.
Made the recent blueberry muffins you made. Mine deflated but they do taste good. I used blueberry keto chow instead of protein powder so that might have something to do with deflation.
Thank you, ladies. I made the hush puppies yesterday and they came out great. I put some garlic powder in the batter and it was yum. Next time will try out flavourings. Love from Toronto 🇨🇦💕
@@susanfrenette3400 I do them in the air fryer every time. Timings depend on the size I make but usually start at 6 mins on 180 then turn and do another 6 mins. I tend to add whatever I have but chop it really small…spring onion, chicken breast, Parma ham , always plenty of cheese and sometimes I roll them in a dusting of grated Parmesan.
Will definitely try the hush puppies. Make your chaffles often with the addition of onions and some kind of green herb. Great for dipping! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Keto Twinzies 👯I'm in Sausalito, California doggie sitting 🐶 but when I get home on Saturday I'm going to make your hush puppies!!! What a Brilliant Idea! 🥳💡
Substitute lupini flour in for the Almond flour and perhaps a dash of cornbread or sweet corn to make those puppies hush like a southern hush puppy should! 😆 add in some onion powder and cayenne & Lordy Lordy!
Have you tried it was reconstituted egg white powder? I bought a huge jar to make bread, and I’m not thrilled with the bread. Looking for ways to use the powder!
I should have never, ever, ever, ever, EVER learned about these O.O ... Ever. They look absolutely delightful. I would recommend a faux honey mustard sauce ... keto honey, if you can stand it, stone ground mustard ... just wing it.
Thanks for the analysis! I have a quick question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?

@ketotwins wish they delivered to UK!
💚
You should add corn extract and minced onions for the hushpuppies.
I was thinking onion powder or something

🤗🤗
Add a touch of grated apple and a touch of cinnamon to your chaffle recipe for a delicious variation!
Definitely going to make these.

You should make pickle bites with that!
Great idea.
Wow, those look delicious! I like the donut tweek! I don't know about anyone else but bread ideas are always welcome. You guys or gals ROCK!!! 😊
I'm so going to try the hushpuppies! I have OOO corn extract that I'm going to use, along with some garlic powder and minced onion! Thanks!
You can add garlic powder etc for the hushpuppies.
Good idea, that’s a great addition!

You should do a video on the unique things you get at Thrive market so we can see if they’re good or not before we buy them
Your recipe is the only one I use or suggest to others! It's perfect 😁
I can’t wait to make these hushpuppies! Your chaffle recipe is the only one I use. It’s perfection. Thank you both ❤.
We are so glad you love our chaffles!
Yours are the only chaffles we make but LOVE the idea of hush puppies (with bacon bits in them😊) and will definitely try the sweet version. Hugs 💜
Looks delicious! I will try these. Your chaffles are the best. My favorite way to eat them is as avocado toast or topped with egg salad.
Love those ideas!
I have always added seasonings to my chaffles. Cinnamon, nutmeg, and sweetener make them a nice dessert chaffle, or I spread chunky peanut or almond butter on them to have with tea or coffee.
I used Bamboo fibre instead of almond flour and added some garlic salt. Yummm!
How much bamboo fiber?
@Season4Reason1 1 tablespoon
@@NusKhan786 Thanks!
Your chaffles are the only ones I make! I will definitely try it hush puppy style AND sweet style. :)
Happy New Year Ladies! I miss hushpuppies, so thanks for sharing this recipe😋👍 Enjoy your blessings this weekend 💜 🙏 ✌️ 🎶 🌞 ☃️ ✨️❄️
Thank you Keto twins.😊
🩷🤗🩷
I love these hush puppies, thanks for sharing I will definitely make these. I will definitely make the pizza balls and try the little mini doughnut balls too. You guys are the best.
Love watching you. Thanks for your commitment to the keto lifestyle

These look so good. I'm definitely going to try them. Thanks Linda and thanks Keto Twins!
I use a normal 4 place waffle maker from Dash. Square, not round. It works great.
If it sticks, you're opening it too early.
I actually mix up 8 cups worth of dry ingredients. Big time saver for future chaffles. Almond flour, xanthan gum, cinnamon, & garlic salt.
I also use 1 egg instead of just egg whites.
Ooo they look good! Maybe tossed in olive oil and garlic.
I wonder if your chaffle recipe could be used to make dumplings? I made some chicken soup a couple of weeks ago and thought about my mom's chicken and dumplings. You just float little balls of dough in the boiling soup.
Happy New Year to you 🎉❤
Fun and simple cant beat that thanks
Thanks girls and Linda 😊❤!!! Looks yummy 🤤
Chaffle base is EXACTLY what I expected. But I’m not mad about it! 😊
😂😂
I’m so keen to try these and stuff them with some keto raspberry jam 🤤
Made the recent blueberry muffins you made. Mine deflated but they do taste good. I used blueberry keto chow instead of protein powder so that might have something to do with deflation.
😋 I haven’t made chaffles in a long time! Guess I’ll be making some this weekend, AND some ‘hush puppies’.
Thank you, ladies. I made the hush puppies yesterday and they came out great. I put some garlic powder in the batter and it was yum. Next time will try out flavourings. Love from Toronto 🇨🇦💕
glad you liked them Debbie! Let us know what flavors you try!
Perhaps try Snickerdoodle flavoring in your Hush Puppies 😉
Try Old Bay Seasoning😋
I never really ate Hush puppies when i ate non keto. Im probably not going to eat these but glad you put out recipes for everyones tastes!❤❤❤
You can add some diced jalapeno in the hushpuppies.
Love it! Sweet donuts holes will be well received by my non keto people here....
I am excited to try these!
I'm going to try both I've been watching you gals for a while now but have never tried them
Hope you like them Bonnie!
I tried your chaffles and loved them. Lots of uses with a nutral flavor
Try a cookie scooper to make the hushpuppies. Those look so good!!!😮
You read my mind! I was craving hush puppies the other day, lol!
I love your chuckles, the crunchy ones with a little butter and one hit of salt
Sooo many "ball" jokes going thru my head right now!!!!🤣🤣🤣
Why am I just now trying these chaffles?! Game changer. Thank you for sharing
I add chopped chicken breast, garlic, seasoning to the mix and cook in the air fryer
Hi Sharon. I was going to ask if they could be cooked in an air fryer. What time and temperature did you use? 😊
@@susanfrenette3400 I do them in the air fryer every time. Timings depend on the size I make but usually start at 6 mins on 180 then turn and do another 6 mins. @@sharonknifton5476 Are they about a two bite size, I can’t think of a ball size haha. Maybe between a golf ball and a tennis ball size?
@@susanfrenette3400 couple of bites. Haha, that reminded me of a scotch egg I made that ended up the size of an ostrich egg😂
@@sharonknifton5476 🤣
I've never had real hush puppies. This is the recipe I needed today though! I will be making some tomorrow -- probably with some spices added.
I can't wait to try these hushpuppies!
I bought egg whites this week so I could try your chaffles. Maybe I’ll do have savory and half sweet!
Will definitely try the hush puppies. Make your chaffles often with the addition of onions and some kind of green herb. Great for dipping! Thanks for sharing.
There are always dash waffle maker at the thrift stores in my area the most I've ever paid is $3.
Hi Girls. These look really really good! Thanks for another great video!❤
Thank you Keto Twinzies 👯I'm in Sausalito, California doggie sitting 🐶 but when I get home on Saturday I'm going to make your hush puppies!!! What a Brilliant Idea! 🥳💡
Dash sells the iron that makes like the doughnut hole shape.
💚
Yum!! Dinner and dessert. hehe.
Looks good, Happy New Year🎉
I gotta make those both ways! 😋😋
I'm thinking onion 😀
Garlic powder. 😊
Diced jalapeño.
Onion powder.
I finally tried your chaffles and I love them...:) :) :)
Substitute lupini flour in for the Almond flour and perhaps a dash of cornbread or sweet corn to make those puppies hush like a southern hush puppy should! 😆 add in some onion powder and cayenne & Lordy Lordy!
I’m watching from Australia and no idea what a hush puppy is!watching to find out
I'm excited to try these.
Funny, I just made your chaffles for breakfast this morning 😋
Have you tried it was reconstituted egg white powder? I bought a huge jar to make bread, and I’m not thrilled with the bread. Looking for ways to use the powder!
Could you air fry them?
Pepperoni balls! Yum!
My chaffles bring all the ketos to the yard
Damn right - they're crisper than yours...
Thank you!!!!
looks very good, can't wait to try
What was the oil heated to?
350
Dip into chocolate too!😊
So excited to try the Hushpuppies. I like the parmesan pearls, but they are a little bit too salty.
🤗🤗
I'm going to try and make Keto boudin balls

I have a tree nut allergy, what flour would you recommend I use in place of Almond?
Lupin flour works well
I don't know why the Parmesan balls I made were so salty the last time I made them. They didn't do that every time. Had to be the cheese of course.
How do you measure egg whites out of a carton?
By the tablespoon
I wonder if they would work in a cake pop cooker. I am terrified of deep frying. LOL
I wonder if it would hold up with some aged cheddar instead of the mozzarella for a cheesier bite
I think it would work great!
Have you thought about making fries with your batter?
Does Thrive Market ship to the UK?
Need some minced onions
Let’s just call them CHUSH-PUPPIES😂
That was a good one!
Yum!
Does Thrive Market operate in Australia? Does anyone here have any feedback about thrive in Australia?
It’s only US
I still love you BUT onions in hush puppies? Flakes? Powder? Yes please
We were just trying it out lol, plenty of options to add stuff in that could be yummy!
Onion and jalapeño
good suggestion!
🐕🐕 🐈 shhhhhh.......
Add bacon bits.
😋
❤❤❤
