Hey Coach. Love your stuff! When you are teaching Y corner how do you teach the "lazy slant?" We ran it last year and had trouble with getting in the right place. Does he have an aiming point, or no?
@@coachjefe6912 I've seen it done with the detached Tight End in the sniffer alignment if that helps any, but with the back aligned five yards behind the tackle it would be as much of a threat.

We basically tell him to do an over-exaggerated Foot Fire and then run to grass.
Coach why not run slant on the backside.Works great if you get man on the x.

Coach, what about four verts out of two back formations? Is there a good way to do this?
I don't think so...Hard to Get a "TRUE" Vertical from the Backfield in the Spirit of the "6" in my opinion.
