Not necessarily. The Shanahans did everything right but Snyder did everything wrong. If the Colts or Cowboys would've picked him up, he'd definitely be out of the league quicker. If Peyton would've gone to Washington (he was thinking about it and visited Mike Shanahan's house) and RG3 got drafted by Denver, I wouldn't be surprised if they still win the Super Bowl in 2015. Team matters for many complex reasons. Still, what RG3 needed most was somebody looking out for his health because he clearly wasn't being responsible. Just because other teams were more responsible doesn't mean RG3 isn't entirely to blame for his fall. He put himself out there and ignored the risks. 2012 may have caused the injury, but 12-15 months of healing (and not 7) could have done wonders. Alex Smith had a far more horrific injury at a much older age and still came back - with the same doctors and team. He waited.
He was the one who decided he wanted to be a pocket passer and not run he was the one too call the meeting of the coaches and tell them to cut anything that had to do with him running out of the playbook. He was the one to say he was good to go and force himself back on the field.
RG3 had just as much to do with his demise as Snyder, he was the one that went over Mike Shanahan’s head straight to Dan Snyder and told Snyder that he wanted to play after Shanahan told him he was not playing because he was injured. This is why Shanahan quit because he didn’t like the way Snyder let RG3 do whatever he wanted, RG3 took his early success straight to his head and he lost the locker room and he lost his career.

Def face of the franchise that year, started to become face of the league too. He wasn’t, but it was looking like he would be
@@Codenamekommy over Brady, Adrian Peterson, Manning, Brees, Rodgers, Megatron, Cam Newton, hell Ray Lewis was still in the league at that time, u must be crazy!! Google who was the all pro on the team that year I bet it wasn’t him
@@SplatInYourFace I was actually watching that year I don’t need to Google nun, and I said it was most certainly looking like he was going to be, not that he was. Use your context clues. lol
He can playnow if he wants
🙄 He can play madden
That was a long winded rant that forgot "Was never a pocket passer, got daddy to fight his battle, whined to the owner about the coach and blamed teammates for his shortcomings"
RG-ME never changed
rg3 ruined his own career by being stubborn now he wants to play victim
🤨 W
no, stay away as far as possible!
Throw the commanders away the league already got the Patriots
And DC loves him back
Read a defense!!
Hmmm naw. All you had to do was learn how to get down. And to the coach’s blame he should have sat you down after that Ngata hit in that Baltimore game. Maybe no playoffs but what did you do in said playoffs. Should have treated you like they gave up a crap load to get you.
It would’ve been worse
He’s reaching with the “face of the nfl” line 😅
RG3 ♒
You were the face of the franchise. IDK if it was of the NFL though. You were electrifying that's for sure
Bro, you gave us a thrill in 2012. You were indeed the face of our team. You also had a very close relationship with Dan Snyder, a dirty, rotten scoundrel. Your teammates don't have anything good to say about your leadership. The new ownership should stay as far away from you as possible. Baltimore is 35 miles away, go wreck their organization. 😠
ITS FEDEX FIELDS FAULT
Yo, I like his logo.
#TheRealMiami
I don’t think he was the face of the NFL
Bust
Was never the face of the league
RG-FRAGILLY. .. And gotta give props to Mike Shanahan who also saw enough talent to draft Kirk Cousins in the 4th rd of the same draft as RG3.
True, Mike Shanahan destroyed your career, I loved you from day one, 2012 is still our best year since the last superbowle in 1991. HTTR
No he didn't it was dan fault.
Whoaaaa 06 07’? My favorite player Sean Taylor?? Being a Skins fan during that time must been great also ( I'm a Bears fan btw 🐻 ⬇️)
@KiidBow
It was more exciting in the eighties for us, BTW I lived in Chicago in eighties and nineties, Bears are my 2nd team of course, I remember watching the Monsters of the Midway Da Bears, that team was unbelievable, if I remember, the whole year they gave up 87 points.
Yeah, because trying to make a running qb made out of popsicle sticks into a pocket passer so he doesn't get crushed is horrible
@kingofcrows8829
RG3 got hurt in the pocket, Joe Theismann, Alex Smith, Burrow and Rogers got hurt in the pocket, of course Brady and Payton Manning also in their career, quarterbacks get hurt in the pocket much easier than a mobile quarterback, it's a fact, that's why they flag anyone touches a quarterback in the pocket but not when they are mobile.
I wish he wouldn’t speak like this.
This guy is delusional and a liar
Bro please. Your ego is the reason you're out of the league
So wtf went wrong????????????
