I will be honest the biggest problem I had with Archeage that made me quit after years of playing was hacking (there were many teleport hackers) FOV hack, map hack etc... Nowadays people are more acceptable to pay2win as well, Genshin impact it's the living proof so it's not a big deal, honestly now I would rather get some pay2win stuff rather waste my limited time to play on boring endless farming... I played Archeage since the Korean open beta, Russian open beta, NA alpha to more or less 8 years, if there were things that made the game die, is due bugs on important events like the game release in the west with 24h queues, aurora opening (Castles) I saw entire guilds quit after not being able to claim a castle due to the lag and disconnects (I was one of the leaders of a 1,100 guild) and let me tell you, more or less 600 active players on my guild alone quitted the game in that patch
Thanks for watching the video!!! I do definitely remember the lag and queues, I left relatively soon after launch and definitely felt alot of the pain points expressed here. I think I may have quit during that same patch haha. And thats after putting hundreds of hours into the beta and alpha of the game
ArcheAge has to be one of the biggest fumbles in MMO history. Everyone agreed it was excellent and then they decided to make a quick buck. They could have easily made as much money as mid tier MMOs like ESO and Guild Wars 2 if they'd been serious about it long term.
If there is a single micro-transaction in the game then I will boycott it. Seriously... with Light No Fire and a half-dozen other amazing MMOs coming in 2025, who needs a pay-to-win exploitative ArcheAge Chronicles.
developer has 10 years of what not to do... And it's a different publisher for the west... Could mean they have learned their lessons, and won't have AS MANY micro transactions, i'm sure there will still be some...
Really hoping!!! Archeage was one of my favorite games of all time. Im definitely okay with some microtransactions but not ones that are gamebreaking or that make me feel like im wasting my time when other players are swiping. Really praying for this game to be awesome.
@@tenivalentine9205 so because i dont have 300 subs, that means ppl shouldnt care about what i say or my feedback? 99.99% of people that play the game and give feedback dont have a yt channel or make vids. How is this any different than a long comment on a forum lol. Its 100% okay to disagree with what im saying, but disregarding feedback is how archeage 1 ended up bad.
Not real nice, man. I know that you’re most likely a child, but Jesus doesn't want you to insult people who are just sharing their opinions-spending time editing, posting, and recording videos. He didn't post this video for the developers. God loves you.
