Why is it a crime to ask people to support me? I do make videos because it I like making them, but it’s not a unreasonable to ask people to support me if they want to. I’m not a full time UA-camr. I teach for a living, and I’m paid for my time because my time is worth an honest wage. You don’t have to support me. I understand if you can’t or you don’t want to. The choice is always yours. I do have over 300 videos of free content for people to learn from and enjoy. If someone wants some extra perks, they are free to support me financially. Patronage is the reason why we have beautiful classical music. Composers were supported financially through patrons who wrote for courts, churches, and other families that believed in their art. Believe me. UA-cam and Patreon are not my main source of income, but please understand where we are coming from.
I understand you response, but also please understand her response. This "free" interview is amazing as are all of her "free" videos. The work that she does is just that: a lot of "work." Yes, a work of love, but work none the less. Just as I love my "work," I need to be paid or I starve. People with "regular" jobs would be incensed if their boss decided they just might not pay them this month! No hard feelings. This makes a good discussion. Her work is worth every penny. And really, it's very close to a penny.

AHHHHHH .!!! Thank you! How are you today?
$50...?!😮 hmmm....then I must have the Ferrari of Ukeleles ...🤔😏😂 lol
You had me until Patreon was mentioned... 🙄 there’s a zillion other vids out there... one more genre going into commercialism....and if it all goes that route...well saying goodbye just like I did to cable... uggh
