    Fantastic channel. I think that this is pretty difficult to knit. I shall have to take time to work it out before attempting it. I also see that the wool is a double knit. I am South African so our knitting terminology is the same as yours. Yours is absolutely beautiful

    excellent, helpful presentation. I loved seeing his own pullover. Stunning. I am knitting a gansey as I listened and watched the video.(in Wendy navy, so I have to pay attention.)

    I suggest you might want to read the books by Beth Brown Reinsel about the Gansey. She went to the villages and interviewed the knitters of gansey.

      Hi Margaret, thanks for the suggestion - we were lucky enough to meet Beth when she was last in Scotland and she kindly donated her gansey book to our museum library.
