Almost 40 yrs a radio mishap am/fm led me to Dr. Evans on the way to Karate 🥋 class. I have tried to listen everyday since then. It has been my blessing from day one. I am so grateful he saved my life when I was fractured and still to this day 🙏.

I fell asleep watching something else and in the midst of my dream, everything changed. The setting, and I heard this sermon begin to play. I was cleaning and started eating chocolate pie (that I absolutely despise) but I listened to every word that was being spoken. I love watching Dr Tony Evans. He has a way of preaching God's word that I completely understand. I have been listening to him for years, first on the Moody radio, and now on TV and UA-cam. God truly works through Dr. Evans. There have been so many times when I have been praying on something or just having a real hard time and I would just happen to hear one of Dr. Evans sermons and it would seem as if God was literally answering my prayer. That has happened several times. God still performs miracles it's just a matter of having open eyes to see them. I have such a deep respect for Dr. Evans he preaches God word and does not try and change the Word to fit into today's world. God bless you Dr. Evans and your ministry. One day I would love to see you in person doing a sermon. Much love brother in Christ.

I love it "you gotta go to college to become an atheist". I have a Masters Degree and in my collegiate walk, I have come across some of the most spiritually ignorant people. One must have a strong faith to not be indoctrinated by the theories and philosophies that are taught in colleges/universities. Often times, students go in with a Christian background and end up leaving atheist, agnostic, or practicing other New Age religion

The book of James is soooo wonderful to me! It teaches the fundamentals of Christianity. How to conduct yourself as a TRUE CHRISTIAN(in Spirit)not carnal(in the flesh). One of my favorite verses is "your gold & silver are corroded, their corrosion WILL TESTIFY AGAINST YOU & eat your flesh like fire."(James) Now that one was an eye opener because it allows you to realize that no matter how "rich" you are...you will not be able to bail yourself out of the judgment. That goes for the poor, the middle class, & any class where pride is at work in them. As a Christian I choose to walk in humility regularly. "HUMBLE YOURSELF BEFORE THE LORD & HE WILL LIFT YOU UP" (James) These "elite" are spritually bankrupt & are "spiritual beggars" as I've heard it said before. Thank you Father God for blessing those who are called by your name. Those who diligently seek your face & not your hands. Those who listen to the Holy Spirit when impressed to act in faith & in good works(as they go hand in hand). Thank you Lord for meeting all your servants needs in every way. May we "speak & act as those who are going to be judged by the Law that gives freedom"(James) & may your people continue to walk in your wonderful grace & mercy Lord. IN JESUS NAME! AMEN!

I stopped going to church a while ago in Norwich CT
because of one of these church doing. That day I didn't know what to think of what he did.
since then I have been worried or afraid to go to other churches because of the rejection.
But I still Believe in the loving YAHWEH.
In a way, I am sad for the members of this church or churches like this.

Yes and I don't remember where the verse is at in the Bible, but a lot of people leave out a very important word in that verse. The Word doesn't say that money is the root of all evil, it says that the love of of money is the root of all evil. If we are humble and compassionate then He wants to bless us with a lot lot because our hearts are in the right place. Just wanted to say thank you for preaching this message, 5 years ago!!! OMG!!! How relevant is this Word today. Here we are, it’s 11-15-2020....how that the church in America is sooo divided, along racial, political, and worst of all public health policy regarding the management of a out of control pandemic....some people die, some people live, oh welll........blind to the masses that are dying from COVID....😫....but you HIT IT on the head. Jesus gave us just two commandments...to Love God, Love one another as we love ourselves. How far we are as a Body of Believers in following this simple command...praying for the Body of Christ to reconcile Democrats and Republicans so we can heal those suffering and move forward.

I have enjoyed listening to Tony Evans sermons for a long time and this is the first time I heard him contradict himself and cater to the dumbed down fans. Nobody is poor from not having a chance, NOBODY! If they are still poor after at least 5yrs.of being a Christian, Tony's own opinion of Christian maturity, It is by their CHOICES!

"What does it profit a man to gain the whole world, but lose his soul.
Elitism in the church. You hit the nail on the head. But God will take care of this.
95% of churches and denominations are guilty of this sin,It's one of the reason why many are turn of churches and denominations.
