If you read "Richard Burton's Diaries" you see what an astonishing love they had for each other. His love for her and the children was very moving. He called Liza "Liza Todd Burton" and when she wrote to him from school, that is how she signed her letters. And he talked about his love for Maria Burton and of course his Katie Burton and he referred to Michael and Chris Wilding, as his boys. He also gave a day by day description of living with that many kids. Sometimes it is quite funny. It really is an amazing love story. And thank you Ms. Schoenberger for collaborating on that wonderful book "Furious Love". I have just finished reading it. It's wonderful.
Oh good grief, he always wanted to be a writer , women's problem is believing that stuff . But I do think she made him feel manly . Maybe she made him feel hope he could have it all the beatiful woman and the alcohol, and everyone knows the alcohol is the altramate seductrice . It always wins the man .
