It is not just a simple ballad, but a song that is my favorite because I can feel Mr. Fujiwara's respect for the original story of the drama, and it makes me very emotional.😢

The voice, vocal, arrangement, lyrics, MV…everything is just too perfect for this band.
Btw, subtitle is the theme song of the drama “silent” which is about a love story between a deaf and normal person. The lyrics are very matched for the drama and I really like the MV that shows us another story that also very matches the lyrics.
You can also find lots of famous songs of higedan like no doubt, I love…, yesterday…and also subtitle is gonna be one of the most famous songs of higedan since it plays like 20m on streaming locally in a week. It’s amazing and crazy that they can create lots of brilliant songs every year.
Satoshi is not just an awesome singer but he's also a great songwriter. He writes all Hige Dan songs.
"No doubt" "宿命shukumei" "アポトーシス apoptosis" are some of my faves, they all have different vibes. You'll love them too for sure!

Pretender is an ost from movie “the confidence man jp”. Subtitle is an ost from drama “silent”. Mixed nuts and cry baby as you know from spy x family and tokyo revengers.

Higedan is a band where all 4 members can compose and sing. They are also famous for each playing multiple instruments. Many of the songs from the indie era have also been completed, and I think it's rare for a band to receive praise for their indie music after their major debut. My favorite song is "zerono mamade iraretara".
Also, "yuugure zoi" is a song that is still exciting with various arrangements. I'm happy that foreigners have the same impression when listening to the songs of my favorite band.

Cry baby was made with the main character from Tokyo Revengers in mind. The lyrics fits him so well also the vibe matches the anime
I only started listening to Higedan at the beginning of this year but they instantly became my favorite band. Their music and lyrics brought me so much comfort throughout my hardest year of my life. If you end up watching more of their MVs i do recommend having the subs on. Out of the dongs you haven't listed to here i would recommend "Hello" "Parabola" "Yesterday" and "laughter" (to throw a sad song into the mix). Tbh i would recommend all of them but these 3 are my personal favorites. You really can't pinpoint them to a genre because they have such vast range and that's why i love them so much. They do have i believe 2 live albums on their spotify and they absolutely slap!!!

I came across this group when I watched a Jdrama that featured one of their songs called Love…. I absolutely love this song and the Jdrama plus it also stars Satoh Takeru so bonus 😊
I absolutely recommend Stand by you, No doubt, Yesterday and Fire ground for the next higedan marathon especially Stand by you, it's just such an absolute banger.
