Am i the only one seeing ARR is slowly getting back to his 90s style with his albums from 2022? Every album since then are simply screaming his 1995-2000 period touch, something we love and miss so much. Loving all the albums so much....!!! 👌👌👌👌

You cant tell me Uyir Uruguthey and Yele Yelechingamey from Cobra arent his 90s template nor can you convince me Maayava, Kaayam, Paapam Cheiyathir, Kanethire are songs he avoided his 90s touch. He didnt let himself use back his 90s template this explicitly for the past 2 decades.

Watched the movie and when 'Jaane do' played in the final few moments it honestly choked me up. A. R. Rehman's music makes the final few scenes so so much more poignant. ❤ I really hope people watch this movie.
The use of Jaane Do in end is really what cinema is meant to be - a pure audiovisual symphony.
Absolutely perfectly shot, scored and edited climax.
What a pity the rest of the film is nowhere near as good as the final 1 hour.
@@sanchitvarma1282Yes, the first half isn't as good as the second half. That and the cartoonish villains really baffled me. Because that is not the vibe of the second half or of the performances by Ajay Devgn and the actors portraying the football players. It was like these were directed by different people.

It felt like the Chamkila songs did not reflect Amar Singh Chamkila's style of music. But Maidaan music does resemble the music of the 1950s and '60s.

This album is a mix of instantly likeable tracks like Ranga Ranga , Team India Hain Hum, layered song like Mirza and songs that will grow more with time like Dil Nahi Todenge. Jaane Do is a separate league altogether, that type of a song comes 1-2 times in a decade.

On my favorite song from the album..Jaane Do...Begins with a whimper with Hiral's sweet voice, the chorus led by ARR creates the main verse softly over a bass-symphonic backdrop, the lines are repeated in a different tune but all is so seamless, you are floating in the poetry in the somberness of it all. Break. Soft piano and humming sustains the melody and you know something is coming...double bass is so good here, takes one back to Jaage Hain. And the vocals soar now to an emotional catharsis, each word hits the heart, the strings soar majestically, it's a moment of triumph, but also a moment of introspection, of lingering hope or the death of dreams. One can feel the passage of time, of things ending, but with a glimmer of hope...aawazon ke dhaage kholo aur tarane gaane do...the orchestra creates a pensive mood with the violins here...we get the opening tune again but different words now ..dekhe koi dekhe khwabon ka yeh tamasha...wonderful song.

Ok so i just came back from watching the movie and i felt i had to write this .some things were very effortlessly executed and some could've been executed with more effort and punctuality.the ceinamatography ,art direction,photography and music( given by the one and only ar rahman sir ) were some of the good factors of the movie .but i had some issues with the story writing and scriptwirting .in many scenes of the movie they made things quite overdramatic and many scenes of movie were stretched which gave you a feeling that even if they didn't do this it might've never made any change in the movie .but either way, according to me it's a good movie to start your year with and you should definitely watch it instead of that cancer bmcm .
