There's something magical about how you teach. I love all your projects. I've even seen Courtney's demonstrations of the scorch marker...but watching yours has given me the courage to try that for myself. I love the torch paste My tip is to heat up the vinyl a bit before applying the paste and flatten it really good then when your using the gun hold it further away and just go keep passing from side to side across the project will take longer but no scorching
Full disclosure - I've never used torch paste BUT I've heard from other crafters that they get better results on unfinished wood. After seeing your results, I'm wondering if maybe sanding the finish off the Hobby Lobby cutting board would help? Amazing dupes as always. The bottle brush carrots were totally my fav! I saw them styled in your vignettes before you showed how you made them and I totally thought they were store bought. Thanks for the inspo, Whitney!

If you want to do more wood burning 🔥 try a "Scorch Marker". Less mess, goes on great and I've recently been doing some personalized gifts for friends with them. I've only found them at Hobby Lobby in the wood burning section. I think it will give you less trouble and if you think you missed a spot, just go back over it before you burn. Loved all your crafts as always! 🐰

I love the torch paste! I made cutting boards for some fellow employees. I spelled a name wrong and had to sand it down and redo! Worked so much better after it was sanded! Love your diys! The flower box was stunning!!

I actually like the HL cutting board and probably would have used the heat gun over the rest of it to scorch it some more. I prefer the distressed look it has. Excellent dupes!

Loved them all - couldn't pick a favorite. I made the tulip wreath last year only I used a grapevine wreath. JoAnns often does a buy 3 for $10 deal and they are a great large size. The bunny figurines for the dishes and the larger 3 bunny set were great. I love the glass egg cloche - I might have to search for those. Fingers crossed, my Target Spot is lame. I love Finn's Easter basket. I'm heading to Michael's! Tip: for cutting heavier wire use bolt cutters. They cut the wire closet shelving like butter.

You can lightly sand over the cutting boards and it will fix the torched areas. Then seal with cutting board oil or mineral oil.

Love all of them honestly but if I had to say one(s)that is a favorite ...it would be the tulip wreath, centerpiece n of course the torch paste cutting board. Like I said I really love them all . lol. Thanks for sharing printables n all the dupes. Take care
