This was a really good battle. Love how much of a support role the dwarves of the Blue mountains played, supporting Harad and Gondor. Only critique, which you mentioned in the video, was poor use of the monster units. Personally I would have kept the mumikil at the hill and used them to finish off Dale instead of using the High Thanes and the Giant. When it comes to monster units you either use them early, or keep them till the end when there will be little ammo left
This was an excellent battle replay and thank you so much for posting it. This new dwarf contingent is amazing and it was great to see some of the top contingents
I loved the way Gondor (and the dwarves) defended against Lothlorien (and the hobbits). They let a few units advance a bit, surrounded and crushed them, then retreated, then repeated the same tactics.
Fun battle. Was pretty sure attackers would win, but towards the middle it kept me guessing. Spoilers Its always tragic seeing Mumakil die so early in a battle, as they always take up so much resources that could have otherwise been allocated to more reliably efficient units. Harad was always going to be somewhat hamstrung after losing them. The death of the Stone-giant is what really drove home that the defenders were screwed. we literally didnt see it do a thing before it got sniped and killed by the Windlass. the defenders should have retreated earlier, and done a better coordination of the whole thing imo. Erebor was an absolute MVP this match for the defenders, participating in all the fronts, And the Hobbits were extremely resource-efficient, not only participating in the main battles but also distracting a significant portion of Gondor's army using only a skeleton crew.
Not being able to use any of the monstrous units was what decided the battle the numbers in the end would have been too much unless the defenders could equal the contest with the tanky beasts. Actually, it was a real shame as it would have been fun to see - but I think bringing 2 mumakil was the wrong idea.....
Bad micro and awareness really hurt the defenders here. They completely lost track of the positions of their monstrous units and failed to spot the attacking artillery. It also shows what happens when an opponent correctly predicts the use of monsterous units and brings a hard counter.
Another wonderful battle! I haven't seen Khand in any of the recent videos. Were they taken out of the game, and I missed it? I really miss my stormguard.
Harad has been my single favourite faction for a long time. Both in terms of looks and how much fun they are to play especially with the thrown projectile and monstrous units. However I feel like they're a little too difficult to play. Not that they are weak. Just difficult to play if you're new to the game. My success rate with harad will be less than 50% and I've been playing the game for 2yrs now. If I could suggest a change , it would be to buff the trollmen so that they can't get staggered. I mean the troll man units are just a little too fragile and the counters to harad feel a bit too extreme and easy to exploit. And since the troll man units have a defence that is just too low and I'm completely fine with that. Giving them the relentless trait would mean they're still having the same weaknesses complimenting the theme of the haradrim while making them strong enough so that harad is more user friendly towards newer less hardcore players .
Depends on the day weekdays maybe around 5 6 European time maybe earlier same for weekends but if u keep a look out for ready 2 play pings I usually put them out whenever we play
What a waste of the Mumikil and Stone Giant. I was really expecting a lot from the stone giant but I guess it was targeted by javelins. It really is annoying sometimes how Witchers can be so devastating for so long but a massive Stone Giant/monster is zeroed in seconds.
This might be a controversial opinion.... but is it just me who thinks that a ballista shouldn't be able to one shot units like the stone giant? Might be hard coded to the game engine but personally think that only a treb should be able to do that? With Mumakil I think it's fine to kill with all artillery but isn't the stone giant literally meant to be the most tanky unit in the game now??
day went from 0-10 after u uploaded
No matter which video I’m watching I always switch to these as soon as I see them

Ngl we were laughing sm in vc when the defenders didn't notice the windlance killing the monster units
All my favourite factions on attack? Today’s a good day to be alive

That windlance carried HARDDD bro
Such a brutal weapon, I love the look of it and it is always able to perform well.

Gondor goes down fighting. Dale the heroes of the attack. What a shame about the stone giant
Thank you umad commander.
Nice battle though bit of a weird army setup in Turns of Alliances 😅

Amazing battle! WP everyone!

The windlance carried
@umad commander.
May I suggest you give the team/players a suggestion to do some angmar war battles? 😊

Khand is still in the game just isn't picked by our bot which gives randoms factions to everyone when we play
What actually is special about the windlance compared to a normal ballista ?
Cannot be burned by fire arrows, have more range than others
I'm surprised the hobbits got the most amount of attacking kills
When I play hobbits obviously I'm the one with the most kills 😉
@ yes, ik you’re a good player, just the hobbits looked like the weakest faction in the game

What time do people usually play in the Third Age Reforged discord server? I'd like to try and jump into multiplayer sieges. I never have before

the windlance also took out the stone giant 😗
Seeing the line of dwarven bodies next to it, i fully agree with you
Damn sunlight can carry since when 😮
