I know what you are talking about, these are what I call modern swahili recipes hata my daughter was confused , she said "mummy I thought vitumbua are made of rice flour, how can you mix it with chicken"??. I guess hilo jina limetokana na chuma cha kuchomea. Pan cake style will be a good idea halafu you shallow fry , I am thinking of trying it too , perfect for brunch . Let me know how it turns out. fardowso sirat Indeed a bad idea to watch such food while fasting but we all do. Ok if you don't have the vitumbua pan and you want to substitute with patotoes you will be making Katlesi. I have a video of fish katlesi but you can use the same recipe with chicken as well and in this case you will have carrots and bell peppers as well.
