Galaxy Eyepiece

This is the GALAXY EYEPIECE. It is a 40mm Low Magnification, Wide angle eyepiece designed to see Deep Space Objects in the night sky. It is manufactured by Tejraj and Company in India and is priced at just Rupees 750. The Galaxy Eyepiece is a MUST BUY for everyone who has a Telescope. 40mm Eyepieces are not provided or do not come along with any telescope in the market. The wide angle lens in the Galaxy Eyepiece is not only designed to help you see lots of faint Deep Space Objects like, Galaxies, Clusters and Nebulae in the sky that are not visible to the naked eye but will also help you locate planetary objects very easily due to it's wide aperture. The outer body of the Galaxy Eyepiece is made out of Hard Plastic and the lenses are glass material. It is a must buy with every telescope.
The Video above will show you how to quickly dismantle and assemble the Galaxy Eyepiece. Please make sure your hands are washed with soap and dried before you start. It is necessary that are fingers are not oily while cleaning or opening eyepieces. Place the Galaxy Eyepiece on a flat surface. Turn the top lens cap anti clock wise to separate it from the main body. You will see a small lens sitting on top of the body. Put the lens aside. Now flip the body upside down and gently lift the outer body. This will separate the outer body from the internal primary lens. You can now clean your eyepiece with a soft cotton cloth or a lens cleaner cloth which is easily available at any optical shop. You can also use plain water to clean your lenses. There are a total of 5 parts including 2 lenses that make up the Galaxy Eyepiece. Carefully observe in the Video above to know how the lenses are placed back in the body. Curvature of both the lenses have to face each other when you put all the parts together. When you lock the top lens cap, please make sure that you do not over tighten the cap. This will create unnecessary pressure on the lenses. The Galaxy Eyepiece also comes with two dust caps.
