De Chomon Le roi des dollars 1905

This charming short clip shows just one of the many works of Segundo de Chomón (1871 - 1929), considered the most significant Spanish silent film director. Although de Chomón was not a magician like Méliès, this clip shows not only his affinity for magic, but also that he had quite an excellent understanding of it, or at least he had worked with someone who had an insight into magic.
