My good friend and I were in a Safeway pulling out $200 to buy this cheap car I could turn around and flip. Flipped it for $1200 actually. The woman behind us says, "Are you guys brothers? Y'all have some super deep voices. The lord must have blessed you." We had a good chuckle about it lol
Rob Pitts very true. My sonata impressed all my neighbors especially as a young Latino boy. Considering everyone owned a 2011 nissan or a junk pick up my car looked like a Damn mercedes to theirs. A Fusion or dodge charger is nice enough. Considering that the average wages in SC are super low to afford a 30k car you have to be pretty high
I had a shorter mom or grandma come to the gas station with her lifted 2500 Dodge pickup one time, and I'll never forget it. She opened up the door, and out fell a step stool that was tied to the grab handle on the door. She maneuvered it around using the rope, stepped down, and went about her business. When it was time to leave, she stepped right back up again, pulled her step stool up, closed the door, and drove along on her merry way.
I listen, all of it,I tho,do not identify to.Now if you excuse me, I must go keep restoring that rusty 06 2500hd I should never had bought,to a unscrupulous guy like them,At least,in the end,I will have built something, with MY hands.I had it coming,I admit.Did that SOB makeup that rusty shit turd, oh totally. Was I unexperienced n now learned a lot, yes.Did Chevy,at the start produced a rust bucket, yes.Do I enjoy listening to these guy, yes.Do I respect them,no.Now again,if you excuse me, I must go build something proper, with my skillfull hand, thx
9am - 5pm nothing maybe someone comes into to pick up a car they bought on the weekend 5pm - 9pm customers get out of work and the dealership gets busy
Rob and Ed's stories are far and away the best on this channel. And you KNOW just from the swagger and smoky voice that Rob has at least a million more stories where that one came from.
Having worked at a Ford dealership in the early 2000's, this story brings back sooo many similar memories. The things you do to get that customer to take delivery and own it. Outstanding, sir. If you're going to Hell for that, the bus is going to be full.
Working in sales I can relate to this, the things I've done to get a car deal. I sold a lifted Ram 3500 last year and got to know the owner who had a brother who owned an RV business near where I worked in Salt Lake. Sold an Impala to an elderly couple around the same time I sold that Ram and they contacted me a few months later out of the blue saying they wanted another car but had a unique situation. They had an RV that they owed money on and they also had to pay to park it in a storage lot. I told them they couldn't have spoken to anyone better to help them. Talked to my Ram guy and sold the RV to his brother (made a little money myself), the couple paid off their RV AND they bought a car from me (another Impala none the less). There were a lot of lucrative details in this story but I digress, I spent more time in their house and at the RV dealer (and driving the RV) than I did at the dealership to make this happen. Rabbit has a lot of awesome "out there" stories that makes me remember my days selling cars.
Love Rob's stories. He the guy in the bar after a couple of pitchers of beer and a trip or two out back to smoke a joint the stories would go on all night.
Hahahaha Rabbit I have listened to every car story I can find from you. I know the feeling all to well about find a decent co-signer on a auto loan! I can only imagine doing what you did for this truck. Because I know I would do the exact same thing! Rabbit you are 100% a car guy for life!
OH, I remember a time I worked at the Chevy dealership in N. Ga . An old man drove up in a raggedy ass 1979 3/4 ton farm truck. w/ cow shit and all draped down the rear quarter panels. He was in overalls w/ tobacco juice flowing from his mouth. NOBODY, would go greet him. Well, I came from that background from growing up on a farm. So, I go greet him. He said "I want to see a 1 ton p/u truck. At the time General Motors was on a strike and trucks were hard to get. But, we had one. It was white just like his old one. He looked it over and said how much? I said the price on the window is as low as I can go Sir. He said I'll take it. I asked if he had a trade. He said NO. I've got cash. I said OK, come on inside to the finance office. He said NO, I ain't going in there. So, I got all the paperwork from the F&I office and we made a fender deal right there on the hood of the truck. He paid all the money in cash, that he pulled from a brown paper sack he had behind the front seat. He signed the papers and when we were thru, he tossed me the keys to his old truck and said, "here you can have this one". AND, gave me a $500.00 tip for dealing with him. Turned out he had been to Chevy dealerships in NC, TN, and SC and nobody wanted to talk to him.. Never judge a book by its cover!!
I work at carmax and this guy, ed, and hoovie are my biggest inspirations hoping to have stories like these one day when i move up in the car sales world
Lmaoooooo knocked that one out of the park!! I swear this is my favorite UA-cam channel, this is what it’s all about, the car community and the story’s it holds, love it guys keep up the awesome work
"She was a nice looking, lady, about half his age... Pretty sure she had some aftermarket parts on her, just guessing" LMAO
Brilliant! Just plain brilliant!
I had this on in the background, as soon as I heard that line I checked the comments!
Low Elevation RC repeating something in a video isn’t funny.
its your claim vs a thousand people who liked his comment
Lsa Photography the comment was just saying that part was funny. This is a comments section... for comments.
This guys voice is so deep my subwoofer was put to work for the entire 8 minute video.
RandoCrypto I️ was announcing a drag race at a local track and blew their amp on the PA in about 2 min. 😂
Hahahaha same story over here, had to turn it down!
Rob Pitts That's awesome.
It’s actually a 8 minute and 27 second video
I always love Rob's stories. The delivery is just awesome.
He gives you a run for his money in the storytelling department, Ed!! That's saying something!!
The accent helps too.
You and Rob have the best stories.
Agreed but still not as good as you ed
you 2 need to do a podcast together
He definitely sounds and looks like somebody who is good in sales
Yup, great combination of friendly and sleezy! And a voice of caramel to deliver the sale! :D
caramel? his voice not smooth
he meant to say camel cigs but the auto correct "fixed" it
You know when you get caramel that dries out and you get like little gravely chunks in it. Yeah it's like that. :D
Hencould sell me dress and I am a straight man
Robs a god damn savage "he's trying to buy you a Kia, maybe he saved a little money here" implying she had a fake diamond lol.
Brap Brap was gonna make a sell or lose one. I️ was done talking.
Rob Pitts Straight to business, how it should be.
Sometimes you have to cut the BS .
“We’ll take the damn fusion”
🤣🤣🤣
"every landscaper in the world thinks they need a 3/4 ton truck just to pull a lawnmower around"...so accurate
conbon 575 I second that 😂
I also plow snow and I used to do it with half ton trucks and a completely tore up the front end and I need at least a 2500
As a landscaper I feel personally attacked
I need to find a girl that would be impressed that I was going to buy her a Fusion.
Brett Bilger well this is small town SC. 😂
or a girl that would be impressed on a $8 gain on bitcoin
Rob Pitts very true. My sonata impressed all my neighbors especially as a young Latino boy. Considering everyone owned a 2011 nissan or a junk pick up my car looked like a Damn mercedes to theirs. A Fusion or dodge charger is nice enough. Considering that the average wages in SC are super low to afford a 30k car you have to be pretty high
Brett Bilger just tell her it's an Aston Martin she won't tell the difference
both ford at the end of the day
I had a shorter mom or grandma come to the gas station with her lifted 2500 Dodge pickup one time, and I'll never forget it. Garrit Einig I feel terrible for this my mom does the same thing when she borrows my dodge ram 1500
Love it!👌
"$450- if he throws in the wheelbarrow" hahaha
Must be a good deal of a wheelbarrow.
Going through these again late August 24. One of the greatest. 🙏
I almost spit out my coffee when I heard grandma might be in the cemetery
Rob is awesome.... 2nd only to Ed.
I think you got that confused, We All know Ed is second to Rob
lol, well, Brother... lets just agree to disagree... although Im sure we can agree that they are both awesome! this is my favorite channel!

Rest in peace old buddy Pitts.
This is definitely my favorite 'Rob Pitts' story. Rest In Peace
Damn grandma never missed a bill in her life 😂😂
Grandpa put everything in her name and made sure their grandson was set for his aftermarket wife and aftermarket life.
@@SteelOfLegend you do realize these were two different stories lol. The aftermarket wife wasnt the grandmas kids wife.
“I was pretty fly so I whipped out my blackberry” 😂💯
I remember getting a blackberry at 18. I thought I was so cool. Then iphones and Android's came out
This is, by far, one of the funniest videos you guys have put out! Laughing so hard!
Thanks! We love Rob.
i was thinking, this will end well. but grandma driving , we need pics. this was absolute gold
Brett Javier agreed
That (golf hit?) just tops it of VERY nicely.
“She’s a JC Penny gal” i love that line
Mc FruityBooty 😂🤣😂
JC Penney
"Definitely one you take to momma". Damn I'm gonna miss you bud. 🙏
Cubic Zirconia 😂 Always funny when the insults close the deal.
WatchJRGo it's even more funny when you insult your way to the white house. 😂😂😂😂😂
Robert Burley awwwwwwwwwwwwww you're so cute. How much soy milk did you have today?
Not getting into this but that waas a genius burn/comeback sir XD
Ashish Patel You talk as if it's possible for a politician to be successful without talking shit.
P
“Does anyone in this damn family have good credit score” lmao
Ok, i do believe this story tops them all. Sorry Ed, but Rob takes the award so far!
Snipe Stud00 oh common you can't beat the cannon ball record run video for shits sake!
Idk, the fighter jet story is pretty impressive
I love car salesman stories. Sounds like a job without any dull moments.
Gus Kipper you’d be wrong.
You'd be very wrong
I have to agree with ya . Weekdays as a rule and Rainy days were horrible . Retail car sales can be fun but def don't miss the down times .
Gotcha Bitch!!!! It's the most boring job in the world. I couldn't last more than 2 weeks
9am - 5pm nothing maybe someone comes into to pick up a car they bought on the weekend
5pm - 9pm customers get out of work and the dealership gets busy
your story telling just made me subscribe
I could listen to this guy's stories all day,and I sold vacuum cleaner's to people who lived in dirt homes
P Kuudsk kirbys?
I sell ice to Eskimo’s and I can listen to his stories all day lol
Ahh kirby
The ring thing.... God damn!! That's some serious skill right there
Hands down my favorite video from not only Rabbit but from VINwiki as a whole. I love coming back time and time again just to watch this video
"Pretty sure she had some aftermarket parts on her"
Over here laughing so hard I snorted and a tear in my eye
I'm still impressed by the 840 credit score.
Cody we do not have credit scores like this in Europe. I assume from this story that 500 is way too low and 840 is very high?
Timo B. 850 is the highest.
She only had 90 years to get it there
I guess when you have good credit to start with you don't think its a big deal....
.
Rob and Ed's stories are far and away the best on this channel. And you KNOW just from the swagger and smoky voice that Rob has at least a million more stories where that one came from.
Omg this guy is incredible. Could listen to him for days. Completely authentic.
His stories are hilarious I worked in a few dealerships and I have a few good ones but man Rob's the king of wheelin and dealing stories. haha
Rob Pitts has some of the best delivery. the only person who might beat the way he tells stories is Ed.
grandma whippin the 4th gen
I love this guy's charisma, that's home run at the end really sets it off.
Rob needs a daily podcast. This dude is very interesting. I could sit all day on the end of a bar stool and listen to him.
Having worked at a Ford dealership in the early 2000's, this story brings back sooo many similar memories. The things you do to get that customer to take delivery and own it. Outstanding, sir. If you're going to Hell for that, the bus is going to be full.
his voice is so comforting I feel like I’m in an actual conversation with him

This guys stories are my favorite
Dude could tell a story….❤
Damn that shit was funny. You could almost see in his face he was reliving that moment. The movements came before the words at times lol
Rob and Ed have the best stories and they way they tell them..
Gawd I love Jc Penny models 🙌🏼

Haha! This guy can tell a story! More of him & Ed please!

Hahahaha Rabbit I have listened to every car story I can find from you. I know the feeling all to well about find a decent co-signer on a auto loan! I can only imagine doing what you did for this truck. Because I know I would do the exact same thing! Rabbit you are 100% a car guy for life!

I love listening to this guy, but I would never try and buy a car from him!!
This guy is the best lol absolutely one of the best story tellers I’ve ever seen
My mans took a prayer for forgiveness lol I like that.
True car salesmen, makes the deal happen regardless what’s thrown in front of him.

I love the Rob Stories..
Awesome salesman.. never gave up on trying to help the customer buy the car
Did he really just say JCPenny is nice 😂
Julian Morales I’m thinking he was being funny about how she was only slightly more upscale than the guy.
Welcome to the Carolinas
Nah. A J.C. Penny gal is a very nice looking classy lady. You fellas never got catalogs in the mail sent to your house when you were growing up?
THis story got better and better and topped out with me bursting out in laughter. The end of the story was the best part :D
Holy cow this guy needs a podcast for his stories
i could listen to this guy talk for hours
“Aftermarket parts” favourite quote
Very good salesman. The trick about the ring always works
Yay! Wake up to another Vinwiki story. 😀😀
That is an absolutely fantastic story. Thank you for sharing
Please have Rob make a video about the "firm firm talk" within regards to straw deals! :)
