City lights flashin’ in my eyes
No time to dream no time for lies
Meetings at dawn and calls till night
Hustle like flames in constant fight
Coffee stains and subway trains
Running circles in my veins
Briefcase heavy thoughts on spin
Rush hour madness where to begin
Clock hands racing fast and wild
Can’t slow down not for a while
Locked in this race a crazy ride
Busy life can’t run and hide
Emails pinging never stops
Deadline chasin’ climbin’ tops
Balancin’ high on tightrope thin
Fallin’ hurts but got thick skin
Dreamin’ big chase the gold
Mind so restless gotta hold
Break the chains of daily grind
Peace of mind so hard to find
Late night grindin’ neon glow
Paper trails where numbers flow
Dancin' shadows on the run
Busy life till day is done
